On this day, October 13, 2024, following a recommendation from a former classmate, I decided to visit Daxi Old Street.
It was my first time traveling there and I was immediately attracted by the charm of the place. Daxi Old Street is filled with well-preserved historical buildings, their intricate wood carvings and baroque facades telling stories of a bygone era. The atmosphere was lively and the streets were bustling with locals and tourists exploring the various shops in the area.

本來想說，都已經提早時間，天還沒亮就出發，應該是不會塞車。
中途就下交流道，來到大溪老街，
想想也很多年沒有來了，
有了新的「大溪木藝生態博物館」
也走了以前沒有到過的「新南老街」

NIO came to Daxi, Taoyuan, looking for a temple that uses a special ritual to attract wealth and fortune. Starting from the Daxi Wood Art Ecomuseum, NIO traveled to a dried tofu shop on the Old Street. Not only did NIO enjoy delicious dried tofu, he finally found the temple he was looking for: The Temple of Fortune.
At the temple, NIO prayed to the gods and burned charms, casting away poverty and bad luck. In order to complete his mission, he must toss moon blocks and get six saint throws. Unfortunately, NIO ended up with only two and failed the mission. Nonetheless, he left the temple feeling blessed and enriched.
