It has a little bit of everything, too. Major city? Check. Suburbs? Check. Farmland and small towns? Check. The Hoosier State has a low cost of living, compared to many other places, especially when compared to the coastal states. The state also has cities and towns where there's very little crime. So, if you're looking for a new place to call home, where you don't have to worry about being robbed, and you can afford to buy a home and save some of what you make, watch this video for my eight recommendations.

Appalachian Trail Daleville Day 1-2 To BeeCh Hill Hostel and Wilson Creek Shelter
Aug 17, 2024 arrived at Daleville Va Trailhead at 5 pm after a day and a half of travel by Greyhound from Orlando to Roanoke and then a 10 mile shuttle to Daleville. I used well known area trail maintainer Homer Witcher to shuttle me 10 miles from the Roanoke bus station to Panchos Mexican Restaurant in Daleville. I ate at Panchos before hitting the trail. I then hiked 1.1 miles to BeeCh Hill B&B & Hostel to rest and prepare for a full day 2 of hiking the next day.
