श्री रणछोड़ राय जी मंदिर, डाकोर, गुजरात
डाकोर (Dakor) भारत के गुजरात राज्य के खेड़ा ज़िले में स्थित एक नगर है। यह अपने विशाल रणछोड़ जी मंदिर के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। इस मंदिर का निर्माण सफेद संगमरमर से किया गया है। सोने के कलश और सफेद ध्वजा वाला यह मंदिर इस जिले का सबसे ऊंचा मंदिर भी है। मुख्य विग्रह रणछोडरायजी (श्रीकृष्ण) की प्रतिमा काले रंग के पत्थर से बनाई गयी है जो १ मीटर लंबी, ४५ सेमी चौड़ी है। मंदिर की नक्काशी में महाराष्ट्र के मंदिरों स्थापत्य शैली का प्रभाव है। मुख्य मंदिर में बनाए गए भित्ति-चित्रों में कृष्ण के कुछ प्रमुख जीवन प्रसंगों को भी दर्शाया गया है। बताया जाता है इस मंदिर का निर्माण पूना में पेशवा की अदालत के श्रोफ गोपाल जगन्नाथ की प्रेरणा सेभालचंद्रराव और उनके वंशजों ने सन १७७२ में करवाया था और कभी वड़ोदरा के गायकवाड ने इस मंदिर को यहाँ का कलात्मक सिंहासन भेंट में दिया था। मुख्य दरवाजे के ऊपर पहले ताल पर यहाँ एक 'टोकोरखाना'(या संगीत कक्ष) है जहाँ प्रतिदिन तीन घंटे शहनाई वादन होता है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि, गुजरात के डाकोर में बाजे सिंह नाम का एक राजपूत रहता था, जो कि भगवान रणछोड़ जी का परम भक्त था, वह अपनी हाथों पर तुलसी जी का पौधा उगाकर अपनी पत्नी के साथ साल में दो बार पैदल द्धारका जाता था और सांवले स्वरुप वाले भगवान श्री कृष्ण को तुलसी जी के पत्ते अर्पित करता था। भक्त बाजे सिंह ऐसा कई सालों तक करता रहा, लेकिन 72 साल की आयु में जब उसकी चलने फिरने की सामर्थ्य खत्म हो गई और जिससे वह द्धारका जी में तुलसी जी के पत्ते अर्पण नहीं कर सका, जिसके बाद भगवान अपने भक्त के बाजे सिंह के सपने में आए और उनकी मूर्ति को द्धारका से लेकर डाकोर में स्थापित करने के लिए कहा। जिसके बाद भक्त बाजे सिंह ने अपने भगवान के कहे आदेश को मानते हुए,वे आधी रात को जब समस्त गांववासी सो गए, तब द्धारका जी के मंदिर में बैलगाड़ी लेकर पहुंचे और वहां से भगवान की मूर्ति चोरी कर ली और डाकोर लाकर स्थापित कर दी। वहीं ऐसा माना जाता है, जब भगवान रणछोड़ जी डाकोर में विराजमान हुए थे, उस दिन कार्तिक पूर्णिमा का शुभ दिन था, इसलिए इस मंदिर में पूर्णिमा वाले दिन का एक अलग महत्व है। #realtreasuretemplesandrituals #religioustemple #hindutemple #temple #templesofindia
