We explore Puerto Rico's Central Mountains to see what most visitors are missing out on. Most travelers stick to San Juan, but Puerto Rico is full of beauty all around the island. We start off at Cerro Meme, just west of Orocovis, surrounded by rolling mountains at the summit. We then head to Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to grab some Puerto Rican food at El Mofongo, called... mofongos. We then travel over to the Chorro de Doña Juana Waterfall, which was still beautiful considering it was much smaller than usual. We end our day at an overlook called El Banquillo, which overlooks the southern mountains, coastline, and Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Corozal Puerto Rico. Can You Guess How This Town Got Its Name?
Today we visit the town of Corozal, in the north central region of Puerto Rico. It’s a peaceful, even quiet, town that’s not laden with tourist attractions, old Spanish forts or turquoise beaches. It has none of that! But what it does have is exuberant vegetation, wonderful vistas and a natural charm that comes natural to Puerto Rico’s mountain towns.People from Corozal are called “plataneros”, because of the abundance of “plantain” crops in the area. It’s also Puerto Rico’s volleyball capitol and the place where the sport made its initial inroads on the Island.
Finally, we visited its beautiful Sacred Family Parish, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Square, City Hall, the Barber Shop Museum, Casa Loydí, the Mavilla Bridge and Monte Choca State Park.

Exploring Charco El Muñeco, Corozal, Puerto Rico (Cinematic DJI FPV drone 4K @ 60fps)
This is one of the best-kept secrets of the area, and hopefully, it remains that way. This place is not visited by many probably because the hike is not meant for everyone. Even though it is not a hard level hike, it does require some rock climbing, river crossing, and about an hour of mid to hard level hike if you want to get to the main waterhole. Still, there are a few spots where you can rest before arriving at the main attraction. You can also stay and have a great time at one of the many waterfalls along the way.
The DJI FPV drone is an absolute beast and I haven’t released its full potential yet, YET! Went back to the industrial, fast, and aggressive kind of music a drone video like this just asks for. Enjoy! 4k 60fps
