Clevedon is a seaside town in North Somerset, part of the ceremonial county of Somerset. Clevedon radiates calm and a traditional seaside experience from its prominent place on the Somerset coastline looking out on the Severn Estuary. Once a farming village, its proximity to Bristol meant that it developed during the Victorian era into a seaside town with a character that still entrances visitors to this day. Clevedon is also popular as a film location, most notably ITV’s Broadchurch, Never Let Me Go starring Keira Knightley and the band One Direction making a video to You and I on the town’s famous Victorian pier found at one end of the half-mile long beach. The town, by Junction 20 of the M5, is just 13 miles from Bristol and 10 miles from Weston-Super-Mare with good public bus links to both major towns. (

City in England
Wells is a cathedral city and civil parish in the Mendip district of Somerset, on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills. Although the population recorded in the 2011 census was only 10,536, and with a built-up area of just 3.245 square kilometers, Wells has had city status since medieval times, because of the presence of Wells Cathedral.
Often described as England's smallest city, it is second only to the City of London in area and population, though not part of a larger urban agglomeration. Wells is named from three wells dedicated to Saint Andrew, one in the market place and two within the grounds of the Bishop's Palace and cathedral.

Discover a unique, coastal Victorian town, with a range of interesting things to do for everyone. Clevedon is a town in North Somerset which holds a vibrant mix of old and new. Historic buildings, sea fronts and cinemas combine with contemporary culture and community.
With a good mix of shops for all tastes and a brilliant selection of excellent restaurants to enjoy. Together with superb views from Clevedon Pier across the estuary, Clevedon is a definite place to enjoy.
Our town centre is filled with independent businesses. With a greengrocers, a plastic-free provisions shop, a stationers, a country store and a number of coffee shops to choose from, the town centre is a hive of local activity. The market in Queen's Square occurs every Thursday, as it has done for over 500 years!
Supporting local is something Clevedon has in it's history and with more cafes and shops opening in 2022, Clevedon is celebrating it's independent values and welcomes visitors to enjoy the town.
