How Do Polish Villagers React To a Black Foreigner? (Social Experiment)
There is a stigma around black people when it comes to traveling in certain countries, especially in Eastern Europe. Is it because some people of colour complain about their experiences in European countries as a minority and how they think they are not treated well? In my travel videos across Europe I have been documenting my own reality of life as a foreigner and my experiences on how I engage with the local people I come across on my journeys where ever it is on or off the camera all of my encounters are the same.. My travels are comfortable and enjoyable and definitely loads fun. I do not feel like a victim or threatened because my colour when I travel. I believe this channel can educate people from an aspect that not all people of colour are always discriminated or judged, this can be seen in all my films from me showing my encounters in some of the most remote places I have visited in Europe such as, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland and England. Although I know some people are racist but for their own reasons.. What advice can I give to anyone that wants to travel no matter the country you travel to or what your colour is. Be fearless, friendly and open to learn a few phrases for interactions, because I know it takes a lot of effort for people and confidence to approach a random stranger and start a conversation and that’s what my spontaneous village travels are about - interacting with the locals and showing how life is on the outside of the big cities and towns. Watch me on this village tour which is far from a touristic location where foreigners usually don’t go. Let’s have look how the Polish people interact with a foreigner. I Took The Wock To Poland. 😎

Today we are crossing the border between Poland and Czech Republic. The city called Cieszyn has Polish and Czech parts. You can freely cross the border between the countries and still feel like you are in the same city.

Cieszyn, Poland Walking Tour ⛅️ 4K Ultra HD – With Captions
Another extraordinary walking tour in which we will explore the most interesting streets of the city of Cieszyn on the Polish side and see the most fascinating monuments and attractions. The film begins on the Bridge of Friendship, which also serves as the border between Poland and the Czech Republic. Next, we will stroll along one of the most interesting streets in the city, known as Cieszyn's Venice (Przykopa Street), heading uphill towards the Church of Jesus, then to the Old Town Square, exploring several side streets along the way. We will end our walk at the Castle Hill, where we will see the famous rotunda and visit a viewpoint with a beautiful view of Český Těšín on the Czech side.
The history of Cieszyn dates back to the 9th century and is associated with a Slavic tribe's settlement. Cieszyn was granted town rights in 1217, and from the late 13th century, it became the center of the Ghosts of Cieszyn. Unfortunately, in 1920, a territorial dispute over Cieszyn Silesia led to the division of the city. The suburbs on the left bank of the Olza River became part of Czechoslovakia and formed a new town. Since then, what was once a unified entity has developed into two separate border towns, divided in half by the Olza River.
Enjoy watching the walking tour in 4K Ultra HD quality with captions!

2023 05 29 POLAND - CIESZYN & POGRZEBIEŃ
Cieszyn, one of the oldest towns in Poland, is situated in the Silesian Voivodship on the Olza River, opposite Český Těšín. The town was divided into two parts, with the left-bank being part of the Czech Republic and known as Český Těšín. Together the towns constitute an important transit centre on the Czech-Polish border, close to the territory of Slovakia, and form the capital of the Cieszyn Silesia Euroregion.
The town came into being in the 10th century as a stronghold built to defend Poland’s southern borders. From around 1290 Cieszyn was the capital of the autonomous Duchy of Cieszyn, a region that later became Cieszyn Silesia. In the 16th century the town was one of the most important centres of trade and commerce, and also a centre of the Reformation movement. After the World War I, Czechoslovakia attacked the Polish part of the region and forced Poland to withdraw from the greater part of the Zaolzie area. Poland recognised the new borders running along the Olza River in 1920; Czechoslovakia got the western section and a part of the Duchy capital known as Český Těšín while Poland got the eastern section of Cieszyn. During World War II Germany annexed the city and renamed it Teschen, and the borders of 1920 were not restored until 1945.
On the way back, we have also stopped in village called Pogrzebien, just to climb viewing tower - 20 metres tall but there is opportunity to see in the distance Beskid Mountains.
The legend of the three brothers well in Cieszyn, Poland
According to legend, Cieszyn in Silesia, was founded in 810CE when three sons of a Slav king called Bolko, Leszko and Cieszko, met here after a long pilgrimage. They found the spring that can be seen in this film and were so pleased that they founded the town. The legend goes that the name Cieszyn comes from the verb meaning to be happy which in Polish is cieszyć się or in Czech těšit se.
A more logical explanation is that the name comes from the Slavic name Ciecha or Ciesza either the name of a local ruler or the people who lived there.
This well stands in Three Brothers Street which is close to the main square.
Nonetheless the settlement goes back even further in time than the name and it would appear that people have been living here since the sixth century.
