Khun Klang village is a community of Thai Hmong people setteled for over 100 years. In 1979, the Royal Project helped promote the cultivation of opium substitues such as winter fruits and flowers.
At present, the villagers are mainly engaged in agriculture, growing winter fruits such as peach, plum, Chinese pear, strawberry, grapes, as well as flowers such as chrysanthemum, roses etc.

What's going on beautiful humans of YouTube?! Today I just wanted to share with you a quick tour of this absolutely stunning blue temple in Chiang Mai's Mae Taeng District. It's called Wat Ben Den for short, but the full name is Wat Bandensali Sri Mueang Kaen.
It's about a one hour drive north of Chiang Mai and it's worth the trip if you are staying in the area. I wouldn't include it on a super brief itinerary, but if you plan on hanging out in Chiang Mai for at least a full 7 day week, then I would absolutely allocate a morning to coming up here.
The architecture is breathtaking and diverse with lots of different buildings, statues, pagodas and stupas to keep you ooohing and aaaahing for the better part of at least an hour.
