Temples of Malot fort in Chakwal, Pakistan
Pakistan has so. many historical places and specially District Chakwal, Pakistan is full of them. Today TravelMyPakistan will take you to Malot fort.
If you are coming from Islamabad , take motorway and exit at KalarKaha Interchange. Take left towards Choha Sedan Shah, After around 4km you will need to turn right on Choie Malot road.Same road will take you to Malkan fort and there is lake called Sumbal lake. You will need to stay on this road for 14km to reach Malot village. Road to this fort is not in good condition.
Fort is on the mountain hill, in its time it would have contained all Malot village in it but now You will see no remains of the fort there, all that remains from that fort are.the 2 temples. This fort is said to built in late 10th century.
Redish sandy stones are used in the construction of these temples, which gets effected by the weather. This temple is built on very high base, you will see lots of pictures on the walls.This temple is built on very high base, you will see lots of pictures on the walls.These temples are dying day-by-day due to lack of care, government needs to take notice on this.Seeing those 2 temples from the far across mountains is very mesmerising.
Government of Pakistan have created a good sitting area with some roof cover but they need to work on the road condition there as well.

This is a video on the 7 remarkable and amazing lakes of Chakwal District! Chakwal, also known as the lakes district of Punjab, is home to many beautiful lakes that are worth seeing. In this video, I'll take you on a journey to explore these breathtaking lakes that now serve as the Dams of Pakistan.
The video features 7 Lakes including Bun Ameer Khatoon Lake, Siki Lake, Kot Raja Lake, Swaik Lake, Dhok Talian Lake, Khai Lake, and Dharabi Lake. Bun Ameer Khatoon Lake is eight kilometers away from Kot Raja Lake and serves as a water reservoir. Locals believe that it was named after an Afghan woman who established Bun.
Sikki Lake is a famous and beautiful spot located 7 kilometers away from Basharat village. To reach this hidden tourist attraction, one must travel an off-road track. Kot Raja Lake, which is 25 kilometers away from Chakwal city, was a small lake that later turned into a dam in 2001. The spot is famous for its attractive views and as a sanctuary for Siberian birds.
Swaik Lake, located in Kalar Kahar Tehsil, is 10 kilometers from Kalar Kahar and features a waterfall. This tourist spot is full of scenic and enchanting views. Dhok Talian Lake, 22 kilometers away from Sikki Lake, is another tourist spot declared by the Punjab Government.
Khai Lake, located near Chakwal city, was converted into a dam in 2007 and is a favorite tourist spot for the locals. Dharabi Lake, the biggest artificial lake in the area, gets its water from Dharabi village and became a dam in 2012. The best time to visit the site is in the monsoon when the water is in excess amount.

Swaik Lake (also known as: Khandowa Lake) (Urdu: کھنڈوعہ جھیل) is a lake located in tehsil Kallar Kahar, Chakwal District of Punjab the province of Pakistan. It can be accessed through the M2 motorway linking Lahore and Islamabad. The lake is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from the Kallar Kahar and 48 kilometres (30 mi) southwest of city of Chakwal along the Motorway (M-2). A waterfall is also located at the lake. It is a popular tourist attraction and offers opportunities for swimming and diving.
