This was taken before the lockdown and before CS Square became an exposure site. We started walking from Burnside Heights towards Caroline Springs.
Caroline Springs is a 21 km west of Melbourne CBD. As of the 2016 census, population was 24,205. The main town square is called CS Square which is next to the man-made lake called Lake Caroline. Caroline Springs was one of the fastest growing suburbs at the time of its development starting in 1999. Caroline Springs Post Office opened in August 2005.
A five-star hotel operated by Mercure Hotels opened in August 2009 which is part of the WestWaters entertainment and hotel complex.
Kororoit Creek runs through the centre of the Carolin Springs and home to native animals such as Tiger snake, Eastern Blue-tongued Lizard, snake neck turtle and kangaroos.
This suburb is car-dependent area but there are bus routes to and from Caroline Springs such as routes 426, 460 and 462. The Caroline Springs railway station was also opened in January 2017.
