Sicily is my favourite region of Italy... so far... I still have some exploring to do. We spent only four days in this little slice of heaven but I would recommend spending longer.
We anchored ourselves in Capo D'Orlando because that is where my bestie's family is from. We loved this quiet town for its beauty but also because there wasn't too many tourist which gave us the true Italian living experience. Also the food is AMAZING and super affordable (no tourist tax here.)
We did day trips to Cefalu and Taormina which are a must if you're in the area.
We filmed this 2 months ago so our vlogging/filming skills aren't the best. We are still learning! Open to tips and tricks!

The name Capo d'Orlando is related to Orlando, the most popular paladin of Carlo Magno. Following the legend Orlando stopped in this Sicilian village during his crusade to Jerusalemme.
Thanks to its beautiful beach (it's more than 6 miles long) and the Nebrodi nature reserve that surrounds it, Capo d'Orlando is one of the best places to visit in Sicily!
