In this episode, I repair my broken wheel before continuing my ride north. A late afternoon start takes me from Carlsbad and through Oceanside before my route is stopped by Camp Pendleton. Taking the freeway to return to my route take me along San Onofre and San Clemente before ending the day at Doheny state beach in Dana Point.
This is a continuing video series documenting my solo bicycle tour of Southern California and the Pacific Coast. The tour lasts 39 days, covers over 1900 miles and more than 108,000 feet of climbing. The route starts east of Los Angeles, California then down to the Mexico border before heading north along the Pacific Coast and through Oregon.
