MORELIA and TOLUCA in MEXICO. Are they worth a visit?
On our way to Mexico City, we are passing through the city Morelia and Toluca. We arrived in Morelia during a tropical storm, making the city quite gloomy. When the sun came out the next day though, the colonial city really came alive. Not a lot of tourists visit this city, making it quite a nice experience.
Toluca is a huge city very close to CDMX where tourists also dont tend to come. We stayed here for a couple of nights to hike the Nevado de Toluca. Walking around here gives you a great view on how many people live in the cities.
