Cuban highway
The Carretera Central is Cuba's main road, a highway that crosses the country from east to west. The length is 1.250 km. Driving there is a weird experience since there are hardly cars to be seen - on a six lane highway! Watch yourself.

We walked all over this self-sufficient farm and discovered how they not only grow their own crops and raise their own animals in Cuba, but also how they make their own gas and generate their own electricity.
This is the type of thing that no other YouTubers will show you. Simply because they turn up in Havana for a couple of days, walk around the old town #havana or #habanavieja and then leave. They never see the #realcuba and simply can't show it too you.

After leaving Trinidad, we transferred to an old Russian military truck for the drive up to the Topes de Collantes Park in the Escambray Mountains. We did an 8km trek to Hacienda Gallega, and after lunch did a further 5km circular walk to the Salto de Rocio waterfall and swam in the river. We spent the night in tents.

Un abrazo grande a todas las personas que siguen mi contenido y lo comparten. Después de 5 años vuelvo a Sancti Spíritus; una ciudad detenida en el tiempo. Es una ciudad de Cuba ubicada en la zona central de la isla, y capital de la provincia del mismo nombre. El gentilicio que corresponde a sus habitantes es «espirituanas»/«espirituanos»; y también «yayaberas»/«yayaberos», por el río Yayabo, el cual cruza el interior de la ciudad. Sancti Spíritus es el caso genitivo del latín Sanctus Spiritus (Espíritu Santo).
Fue fundada el 4 de junio de 1514 por Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar a orillas del río Tuinucú en la actualmente llamada localidad de Pueblo Viejo ( siendo la cuarta Villa fundada de Cuba ) a unos 8 kilómetros de su ubicación presente, y en 1522 fue trasladada hacia su sede actual a orillas del Río Yayabo. La ciudad conserva un centro histórico con edificaciones de los siglos XVIII y XIX, entre los que se destaca la Parroquial Mayor, construida en 1680 y el Puente sobre el Río Yayabo, único en Cuba proveniente de la época colonial, declarado Monumento Nacional. Se destacan los museos de Arte Colonial, Provincial de Historia, el de Historia Natural y La Casa de La Guayabera.
