Ipswich is an urban region in South East Queensland, Australia. Situated on the Bremer River, it is approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) west of the Brisbane central business district. A local government area, the City of Ipswich has a population of 210,000 (projected to grow to 435,000 residents by 2031). The city is renowned for its architectural, natural and cultural heritage. Ipswich preserves and operates from many of its historical buildings, with more than 6000 heritage-listed sites and over 500 parks. Ipswich began in 1827 as a mining settlement
Ipswich is centrally located in the booming South East Queensland region of Australia.
To the east is the capital city Brisbane, and to the west are the rural and agricultural areas of the Brisbane, Lockyer and Fassifern Valleys. #Ipswich 位於澳洲西南面，由黃金海岸前往車程約1小時20分鐘，距離 #Brisbane #布里斯本 約30-40分鐘車程，巴士、火車均可到達。這裡的人口約21萬，有不少知名的學校，例如 #IpswichGrammarSchool 及 #IpswichGirlsGrammarSchool ，亦有不少富有歷史的建築及景點。

Woodlands of Marburg sits in stately splendour on a hilltop just outside the town of Marburg — 20-or-so-minutes’ drive from the city of Ipswich (west of Brisbane). The two-storey heritage-listed colonial era mansion, complete with wrap-around balconies, ornate wrought iron work and a widow’s walk, harks back to a time of genteel rural prosperity.
Woodlands has its own chapel, grotto, and graveyard, and tales of ghostly goings on have been common throughout its history. So much so, that the mansion offers visitors the opportunity to join an evening tour and paranormal investigation, hosted by the team at Katie Harvey Paranormal Experience. Limestone Park
If it's wide, green, open spaces you're looking for in Ipswich, Limestone Park at Eastern Heights, just a few minutes from the Central Business District, has plenty of room for all sorts of outdoor activities. It's proof that you don't have to spend a lot of money to have a great time.
Used regularly for team sports events with facilities suitable for soccer, football, cricket, athletics and netball, Limestone Park has picnic tables and barbecues with drinking water, gazebos and other shelters so the whole family can enjoy the pleasant surroundings. Bring along a ball to kick around the large area so the kids can run themselves ragged, and there's also playground equipment for the younger ones.
It's not unusual to see local walkers and joggers enjoying Limestone Park, including with strollers and pet dogs joining in on the exercise. There are recreational pathways and strength and agility stations, along with car parking, disabled access and public toilets. You can also hold a sporting event at Bill Paterson Oval by prearrangement with Ipswich Little Athletics.
