Faro de Cabo Home lighthouse, one of the highest in Galicia. On the cliffs of Donón in Cangas do Morrazo, over 150 metres high and against which the sea pounds furiously on a coastal area called the Costa da Vela. The lighthouse was built in 1853. The tower is 17 metres high and is situated 143 metres above sea level. The almost constant fog in winter meant that a siren was added in 1888, known as La Vaca de Fisterra or the Fisterra Cow, in order to warn sailor of the imminent danger.

Driving on AP-9 motorway between Vigo and Pontevedra across Ponte de Rande, and then on road VG-4.4 to Bueu in Galicia, Spain.
Marín is a town and municipality in Galicia, Spain in the province of Pontevedra. This town is where the Spanish Navy was settled. It was established as the Escuela Naval Militar de Oficiales (Naval Academy for Officers). It is located on the southern shore of the estuary of Pontevedra, in the comarca of O Morrazo. Formerly named San Xiao Ancorados by ships anchored nearby, but it is a popular distortion of Encoirados, meaning leather tanneries, as they were in the Lameira river which flows into the urban center of the village. Father Sarmiento says his name comes from the Latin word mare, meaning sea, but it is now known to be derived from the name of a former possessor of this land named Marinus. Marín derives from Marini, property of Marinus. Both references to the sea are, therefore, pure coincidences.

Bueu es un municipio de la provincia de Pontevedra donde disfrutar de las playas, los pazos, los molinos y la naturaleza. Su principal fuente de riqueza es la pesca, ofreciendo un turismo gastronómico de calidad. El clima es suave en invierno y cálido en verano, lo que invita siempre al visitante a un paseo por sus calles. htpp://

Sobre Pontevedra: Pontevedra es una provincia situada al noroeste de la región de Galicia y limita al oeste con el Océano Atlántico. Según, una leyenda griega, fue fundada por Treuco, uno de los héroes de la Guerra de Troya. Visita obligada si nos desplazamos hasta Pontevedra es el Santuario de las Apariciones, dentro del Convento de las Hermanas Doroteas, donde vivió Sor Lucía, principal vidente de las apariciones de la Virgen de Fátima. O las ruinas de Santo Domingo, en la actualidad forman parte del Museo Provincial de Pontevedra, que desde 1895 son consideradas monumento nacional. También podrás disfrutar de su gran oferta hostelera, donde destacan el lacón con grelos, las mariscadas y la empanada gallega, entre otros muchos platos tanto de carne como de pescado o marisco. No pierdas la oportunidad de degustar todos los sabores de las Rías Galegas. Asimismo, para realizar una visita completa por la provincia no podemos irnos sin visitar el Parque Nacional de las Islas del Atlántico formadas por las Islas Cies, o Islas de los Dioses como las llamaron los romanos y los archipiélagos de Ons, Sávora, Noro, Vionta, Malveiras y Cortegada, que se encuentran a lo largo de las Rías Baixas y donde podremos descubrir todo un paraíso de animales y plantas de todo tipo.
