Explore the beauty of Busteni, a picturesque town nestled in the heart of Romania. Witness the splendor of the Carpathian Mountains as they tower over the town, offering unparalleled panoramic views. Most of the filming of the Netflix's movie called Wedneday took place between 2021 and 2022 in Bușteni, – lending a bleakness to the already stark shooting locations. Built in 1911 in the Neo-Romanian style, Cantacuzino Castle in Bușteni stars as the show’s main location: Nevermore Academy. Until the 1930s, the castle was the summer home of Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, who commissioned it. After World War II, it was owned for a period by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, before undergoing restoration and opening to the public. Cu numeroase posibilități de petrecere a timpului liber, Bușteni este opțiunea ideala de vacanță sau de iesire în natură. Enumerăm doar cateva obiective ce merită vizitate: Castelul Cantacuzino, Pârtia Kalinderu, urcare cu telecabina catre Sfinx si Babele, Crucea Eroilor de pe Caraiman, etc. Nu ai cum să nu de îndrăgostești de acest oraș.
