Number 6.PONDER MODERN ART AT THE SAN MARINO NATIONAL GALLERY Ponder modern art at the San Marino National Gallery
The San Marino National Gallery has more than 1,000 pieces of modern and contemporary art. The collections from the 20th century have been put into four groups, each of which represents a different time in San Marino's history. Some of the best artists in Italy, like Renato Guttuso, Giuseppe Spagnulo, and Emilio Vedova, have pieces here. There are also works by local painters and sculptors to enjoy and this should be on your list of things to do.
Number 5. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TAX-FREE SHOPPING
Take advantage of tax-free shopping
Take advantage of San Marino's tax-free shopping and spend money without feeling bad about it. When you look through the stalls at the Borgo Maggiore Market on Thursdays, you can find unique crafts, clothes, food, and much more. It dates back to 1243, when it was known for cattle trade fairs. Now, shoppers have a lot more options, which is great.
Number 4. TUCK INTO SEAFOOD AT THE OSTERIA LA TAVERNA
Tuck into seafood at the Osteria La Taverna
At Osteria La Taverna, which is in the middle of one of San Marino's main squares, you can get great seafood. With a glass of full-bodied sangiovese red in hand, the terrace is a great place to watch people or just take in the view of the Tuscan hills. Try the tasty spaghetti with seafood or the potato gnocchi with cod. The osteria also has regular theme nights, and the chef, Luigi Sartini, also runs the Michelin-starred restaurant Righi, which is right above the osteria.
Number 3. SIP WINE AT CONSORZIO VINI TIPICI
Sip wine at Consorzio Vini Tipici
This vineyard colony is a must see and thing to do for both wine experts and people who just like to drink wine. It is where all the winemakers from the Republic of San Marino work together. With high-quality grapes, the wines are the best in the business, and there are plenty of experts to help you choose the perfect drink. The Biancale di San Marino, which has a fruity taste, is a sure winner.
Number 2. RIDE THE SAN MARINO FUNICULAR
Ride the San Marino funicular
Take the cable car in San Marino and fly over the rooftops of Borgo Maggiore as you look out at the Adriatic coast. The funicular goes from a lower station in Borgo Maggiore to an upper station in the center of San Marino. Tourists and locals who need to get to work use the funicular. A word of advice: get to the parking lot early or you might miss out on a spot.
Number 1. STATUE OF LIBERTY, SAN MARINO
San Marino
One of San Marino's symbols, the Statue of Liberty, is in the square in front of the building. It is a statue made of Carrara marble. Countess Otilia Heyroth Wagener of Berlin gave it to the Republic of San Marino. This square is perfect because it has a beautiful view of the hills around it. In fact, the square is a natural balcony where you can see the view.
So these are the top 10 best things to do in San Marino. Do you agree with our list and think that viewing Statue of Liberty is this the best thing to do in San Marino? Share your views in the comments section below and don't forget to subscribe to our channel The Travel Boss. Thanks for watching.

San Marino is a mountainous microstate surrounded by north-central Italy. Among the world’s oldest republics, it retains much of its historic architecture. On the slopes of Monte Titano sits the capital, also called San Marino, known for its medieval walled old town and narrow cobblestone streets. The Three Towers, castlelike citadels dating to the 11th century, sit atop Titano’s neighboring peaks.

MAP OF SAN MARINO
salutations my friends. this is a map of San Marino. San Marino is an enclave surrounded by Italy in Southern Europe, on the border between the regions of Emilia Romagna and Marche and about 10 km from the Adriatic coast at Rimini. Its hilly topography, with no substantial naturally flat ground, is part of the Apennine mountain range. The highest point in the country, the summit of Monte Titano, is 749 m above sea level; the lowest, the Ausa River (ending in the Marecchia), is 55 m . San Marino has no still or contained bodies of water of any significant size. excuse me. please comment about San Marino. continuing.
It is one of only three countries in the world to be completely enclosed by another country (the others being Vatican City, also enclosed by Italy, and Lesotho, enclosed by South Africa). It is the third smallest country in Europe, after Vatican City and Monaco, and the fifth smallest country in the world. thats all for now. please subscribe for the best maps and for the love of San Marino. goodbye. #mapschool #maps #mapas #mappas #sanmarino

S22EP59 | SAN MARINO - MOTORHOME Over-night parking?
Unfortunately, our short detour via San Marino was somewhat hampered by foul weather but we did manage to spend one night in this old Republic.
San Marino is the world's oldest republic and Europe's third smallest state. It is the sole survivor of the patchwork of independent states that used to make up the Italian peninsula before the unification of Italy. Most cultural attractions are in the capital city, which is also named San Marino. At the top of a mountain, the City of San Marino is full of old buildings, restaurants, and stores catering to tourists, as well as several small museums, and has beautiful views of the nearby towns and surrounding countryside.
San Marino’s main attractions are the three towers, which feature on the national flag. Only the Guaita Tower and the Cesta Tower are open to visitors. They are small castles at the top of Mount Titano, offering excellent views over San Marino and Italy as well as the Adriatic Sea. The third and smallest of the towers, Montale Tower, is inaccessible and was once used as a prison.
San Marino’s narrow cobbled streets are full of surprises and you can go up and down the city to explore. You can climb the city walls and walk along it at places. There are virtually no cars and the streets have a very medieval feel.

Museum of Ancient Arms, San Marino #SanMarino - 🗺️ Travel video
The Ancient Arms' Museum is located in the Second Tower, at 755 meters of height on the Mount Titano. It contains 2.000 ancient weapons that the State of San Marino has acquired between 1956 and 1972.
The exhibition is on two floors of the tower, divided into four rooms, and describes the evolution of weapons, the transition from the white ones – swords, daggers and crossbows – to the fire arms, also no shortage of prototypes and experimental weapons such as the dagger-pistol of 1730, the two-handed spade of the XVI century and the double pistol, with two barrels and two triggers dating to the end of the 1800’s.
The Museum opened in 1956, thanks to an agreement stipulated with Giovanni Carlo Giorgetti, a well-known collector of arms from San Marino.
