My Top 17 Best Beaches and Snorkeling in the Exumas, Bahamas (By Land, By Boat, and By Excursion)
We just got back from an amazing trip to the Exumas in the Bahamas. We put this video together so if you're planning a trip to the Exumas, you know which beaches and snorkeling spots to go to and how to access them. We start out with the beaches on Great Exuma Island that you can drive to. Then we head to Little Exuma Island to the beaches you can drive to. From there, we rented a boat and we'll show you the islands to visit by boat. Lastly, we went on an excursion that was farther way to visit Pig Beach and other far away beaches in the Exumas. Beaches 1 through 11 you can drive to: 1. Exuma Point Beach, Great Exuma Island

Almost all islands are known for their beaches, and that’s true of the Bahamas as well. You can relax at the unique Pink Sand Beach, see the pink feathers of flamingoes at Paradise Beach, or go into a luxury building at Cable Beach to get pampered.
Many areas of the Bahamas are protected national parks. The Abaco Islands alone have 6 of them. Others include Primeval National Park and Lucyan National Park. They’re both extremely biodiverse and full of unique plant and animal species.
There’s an almost endless amount of places to go SCUBA diving and snorkeling in the Bahamas. You can start at Thunderball Grotto or go even deeper at Dean’s Blue Hole. Try the Stingray Adventure at Half Moon Cay or the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Moon Island for a closer look at the local marine life.
Go up the 66 steps of the Queen’s Staircase or walk along the Glass Widow Bridge. These historical structures are important to locals and can’t be missed.
Eating local food is also one of the best ways to get a taste of the culture of the Bahamas. Try a classic fish fry at Arawak Cay or ice cream made with local ingredients at Sun and Ice. Finish at the historic John Watling's Distillery.
