भरतपुर राजस्थान के एक महत्वपूर्ण पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में जाना जाता है। भरतपुर की स्थापना 1733 में जाट राजा महाराजा सूरजमल ने की थी। इसे अजय लोहागढ़ के नाम से भी जाना जाता हैं, यहाँ कई धार्मिक और ऐतिहासिक दर्शनीय स्थल मोजूद हैं जिनमे से कुछ महत्पूर्ण स्थलों के बारे मैं हम आपको इस विडियो में बताने जा रहे हैं |

गंगा मंदिर भरतपुर (Ganga temple Bharatpur)

भरतपुर के लगभग मध्य में स्थित गंगा मंदिर अपने सोंदर्य की अनोखी मिशाल हैं ऐसा कहा जाता है कि वर्ष 1845 में महाराजा बलवंत सिंह ने इस मंदिर नीव रखी, इस मंदिर बनाने के लिए करीब 9 दशकों का समय लगा, मंदिर का निर्माणकार्य पूरा होने के बाद राज परिवार के पांचवें वंशज महाराज कर्नल सवाई ब्रजेन्द्र सिंह ने मंदिर में देवी गंगा की मूर्ति रखी। यह उस समय से है कि इस मंदिर को गंगा मंदिर के रूप में जाना जाने लगा।

लक्ष्मण मंदिर, गंगा मंदिर से कुछ दूरी पर भरतपुर शहर के केंद्र में स्थित हैं, इस मंदिर में आपको लक्ष्मणजी के साथ उर्मिला जी के भी दर्शन प्राप्त होंगे, चूंकि मंदिर भरतपुर शहर के मध्य में मोजूद है, इसलिए यहाँ हमेशा आगंतुकों की भीड़ मौजूद होती है।

लोहागढ़ किला ( Lohagarh fort Bharatpur )

18 वीं शताब्दी में जाट शासकों द्वारा निर्मित, लोहागढ़ किला राजस्थान में बेहतरीन वास्तुकला में से एक है। यह किला इतिहास में बने सबसे मजबूत महल में से एक है जिसे जीत पाना किसी के लिए सम्भब नही हुआ, किले पर कई बार हमले हुए लेकिन इस किले के आगे कोई नही टिका यहाँ तक कि ब्रिटिश शासक इसे जीतने में कभी सक्षम नहीं हुए। किले के चारो तरफ जाट शासकों ने गहरी खाई बनवाई गई जिसमे उन्होंने पानी भरवाया, जिसे हम सुजान गंगा के नाम से जानते हैं ये जाट राजाओ के युद्ध कोशल साहस और बुद्धि का वेजोड़ नमूना हैं इस किले के अंदर कुछ दिलचस्प स्मारकों में किशोरी महल, महल खास, कोठी खास, मोती महल और जवाहर बुर्ज, जैसी कई इमारतें मोजूद हैं।

सरकारी संग्रहालय (Government museum Bharatpur)

भरतपुर का सरकारी संग्रहालय भरतपुर का एक प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थल है। यह लोहागढ़ किले के बीच में स्थित हैं इसमें आपको भरतपुर के इतिहास से जुडी कई प्राचीन बस्तुये देखने को मिल जाएँगी, संग्रहालय में मुख्य रूप से आपको पत्थर की मूर्तियां, शिलालेख, सिक्के, हथियार, लघु चित्रों के साथ साथ और भी कई चीजे देखने को मिलेंगी |

The best time to visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is August to November for watching resident birds and October to March for spotting migratory birds.
केलादेव नेशनल पार्क शहर से करिवन 3 किलोमीटर से भी कम दूरी पर स्थित हैं यह 29 वर्ग किलोमीटर के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ हैं जिसमे आप देश विदेश से आये बिभिन प्रकार के पक्षियों को देख सकते हैं, पूर्व में ये पार्क भरतपुर के राजाओ की शिकारगाह के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता था लेकिन बाद में यहाँ शिकार पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया।1985 में इसे यूनेस्को की विश्व धरोहर स्थल के रूप में स्वीकार किया गया था इसके बाद इसे 1982 में एक राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त थी। इस पार्क में आने वाले आगंतुक साइबेरिया, अफगानिस्तान और मध्य एशिया के पक्षियों की एक दिलचस्प नस्ल देख सकते हैं जिन्हें देखने के लिए रोजाना यहाँ सेकड़ों पर्यटक देश विदेश से पहुचते हैं.

डीग पैलेस भरतपुर (Deeg Bharatpur)
डीग पैलेस भरतपुर शहर से करिवान 35 कलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित हैं, डीग पैलेस को 1730 में महाराजा सूरजमल द्वारा बनाया गया था, इसमें छोटे और बड़े मिलकर करिवान 2000 फव्वारे हैं जो की आज भी सही सलामत हैं, जिन्हे सितम्बर और फरवरी के महीनों में एक उत्सव के दौरान साल में दो बार चलाया जाता हैं। डीग किले भ्रमण के लिए आप शुक्रवार को छोड़कर हफ्ते की किसी भी दिन 9 बजे से शाम 5 बजे के बीच आ सकते हैं |

1. Females are being molested badly. People deliberately put gulal on girls & rub their cheeks with the colours or just pour gallons of water(despite you ask them not to do so) & wish them Happy Holi while girls only have awkward expressions on their faces.

2. Some people take advantage of a full crowd in the temple & push each other in the bay. Being in a crowded place you can't move anyway.

3. People target the private parts of females with their water guns. They come in groups of 5-10, gather around the girls & start throwing the watercolours at them. One worst things was the quality of colors and the Gulaal was pathetic( it's mostly a mixture of colour & sand or maybe dust idk..but it hurts your eyes way too much

It's a very disrespectful thing. Girls are not comfortable there & everyone wants to exploit them as much extent as they can.

Bharatpur is home to one of the world's best-known bird watching destinations, Keoladeo Ghana National Park (KNP). 250 years ago, the then ruler built embankments that allowed flooding of this land, turning it into a marsh. Named after the dense jungle that surrounded an old Shiva Temple, this 29 square kilometre man-made wetland is renowned for migratory birds – ducks, geese, waders, raptors, flycatchers and more. In winter, avid birders and ornithologists flock to the park to observe and study the feathered beauties. With more than 370 recorded species, KNP used to also host the Siberian crane. It is a World Heritage Site.

Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary
Originally, this area was known as the best duck shooting resort during the British reign. Today, it is one of the most breath-taking water bird sanctuaries in India. The sanctuary is home to more than 300 species of birds and, in addition, a large number of migratory birds flock here in July/August on the marshes and low lying trees. The park offers exceptional scope for study, for those interested in the nesting and breeding of Indian water-birds.

Lohagarh Fort or the Iron Fort
This beautiful fort faced British attack four times. It is different from other forts in the state in that there is no flamboyance associated to the fort. However, it generates an aura of strength and magnificence. Some interesting monuments inside the fort include the Kishori Mahal, Mahal Khas, Kothi Khas, Moti Mahal, and towers like Jawahar Burj and Fateh Burj.

Bharatpur Palace:
This palace is a fusion of Mughal and Rajput art and was built in different phases by different kings who ruled this city. This Palace has now become a museum displaying collections dating back to the second century AD.

Government Museum:
This Museum, located within the Lohagarh Fort, houses a rich collection of sculptures, inscriptions and exhibits of the art and culture of the region. The Museum is divided into five main sections: Archaeology; Armoury; Arts, Crafts & Industry; Children Gallery and Miscellaneous. Timings: 10 am to 4.30 pm (closed on Fridays and government holidays)

Fatehpur Sikri (22 km)

Deeg (34 km): The rulers of Bharatpur built their pleasure palace at Deeg and this 18th (1755 to 1763) century town gained fame as their summer resort. Deeg is renowned for its forts, palaces and beautiful Mughal gardens.
