Driving in France: Autoroute A36 E60 from Besançon to Montbéliard
In this video you can ride along on Autoroute A36 E60 from Besançon to Montbéliard in the East of France. The A36 is an Autoroute that connects the border with Germany in the East to the Route du Soleil (A6/A31) near Beaune South of Dijon.
The A36 runs through the foothills of the Jura Mountains and passes some nice historical cities as well as world-renowned wine regions. Especially the Bourgogne region is known for its excellent wines, but also the vineyards around Besançon produce high quality wines. I never visited Besançon personally but it's on my list.
Montbéliard is already quite a ways East in the country and perhaps most well-known for being home to automaker Peugeot. You can recognize some of its presence on the highway signs through Montbéliard. In a future video we will continue the drive East towards Mulhouse / German border.
