Nan Tien temple || biggest Buddhist temple in southern hemisphere|| Australia ||
Situated at Berkeley - a suburb of Wollongong in the state of New South Wales. It is one of the branch temples of Fo Guang Shan, founded in 1965 by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, which has over 200 branches worldwide. Nan Tien in Chinese, literally means Paradise of the South. This is the biggest Buddhist temple in the southern hemisphere.
A History of the SP/Santa Fe Arvin Branch
Agriculture and Oil have played an important part of all branch lines in the southern San Joaquin Valley and the Arvin Branch is no different. Running from East Bakersfield to the small town of Arvin about 15 miles to the southeast.
It was constructed to serve the growing agricultural interests in the area between Bakersfield and Arvin but eventually served oil and other industries that also grew along its length.
As with most branches, better roads and more efficient trucking took its toll on rail traffic and business began to decline in the 1960s and continued to fall off into the 2000s. There is, however, enough business out there to justify its continued use (along most of it) by the San Joaquin Valley RR.

Shelly Beach is a coastal suburb of New South Wales, Australia, located east of Tuggerah Lake and bordering the Pacific Ocean south of The Entrance. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. It is 66 km south of Newcastle & 93 km north of Sydney.
Shelly Beach NSW is one of the locals’ favorite beaches.

Shelly Beach is a lively, natural, and clean beach near The Entrance on the NSW Central Coast.
You can also walk north of Shelly Beach toward The Entrance. Shelly Beach must be one of the best dog beaches on the Central Coast. Dogs can run free for nearly 1.5 km from the beach access walkway to just before Toowoon Bay.

Innisfail, Far North Queensland - 4K Ambient Walk
Innisfail is a small town in Far North Queensland which was once known as Geraldton until about 1910. Whilst it only has a population of around 7,500, the town center was quite busy, making for a lively 4K walking tour.
The CBD's main streets are Edith Street and Rankin Street, and the town has the Johnstone Rivers running through it, all of which are seen in this 4K walking tour.
There is some old architecture and a few interesting sites. It's quite a unique old town which I feel will remain like it is for many years to come.
Grand Canyon Walk, NSW
In my final NSW video, we went and visited the Grand Canyon walk, located in the Blue Mountains to the west of Sydney. The walk starts near Blackheath, and is essentially a circuit with a little bit of a road walk to start or finish. The scenery in the canyon was stunning, with some fascinating sections of track. The final view across the Grose Valley (featured in the thumbnail) was also pretty special.

Final steam day at Barry 2021. Trackside, cab ride and depot visit
November 6th 2021 I was down at the depot for an early start as Julian, Alex and Mike prepared their loco for the final steam run of the 2021 season. All tickets had been sold within 24 hours of posting so we checked the track with a run over to the Island before dropping down to the Waterfront for the first customers. Despite the cold wind I decided to go trackside to capture the loco in action both on the Island and on the approaches to the viaduct that connects to the mainland.
