10 Cheapest Places to live in California.
10 Cheapest Places to live in California.
Buying a house can be hard. If you are thinking about California and don't need to be in one of the major cities, this list is for you.
Nobody wants a giant mortgage but in most of California, that is what you are going to get.
If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. Most of these videos are made to help people who are thinking about relocating, looking for real estate, or just wanting to learn about the United States. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. But, most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, bail bondsmen, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will. And I will try and make it entertaining.

Barstow Harvey House 😎 California Route 66 #route66 #California
Hi, this is just a little walk around the Harvey House in Barstow California . They were closed because of you know what. They old railroad station is right off of Route 66 in Barstow California.
The Harvey House was an oasis of comfort and civilization along the railway routes of the Southwest. Fred Harvey, dismayed by the often crude facilities he had seen at railway stops, endeavored to provide clean and welcoming lunchrooms, restaurants, and hotels as alternatives. His name became synonymous with quality accommodations. Fred Harvey is also famous for recruiting the Harvey Girls: young, decent, hardworking women from around the country to serve as hostesses in his lunchrooms. Having created the first restaurant chain in the United States (even while part of the country was still territorial rather than actual states), Harvey needed staff who could keep to his high standards. So he advertised in the East for women 18 to 30, pleasant, competent, attractive, and willing to meet his expectations for civilized behavior. Besides their pay they would receive room and board. Thousands applied and the best were hired; for many of the young women, it was the first time they had left home.
