Bad Düben | Travel Tipps | Reiseführer Deutsch
Das Heidestädtchen Bad Düben liegt am Westrand der Dübener Heide im Norden Sachsens. Bad Düben wird bereits im 10. Jh. als Besitztum des Erzstifts Magdeburg erwähnt. Die Burg, bisher der Sitz von Burggrafen, wurde 1117 vom Grafen Wiprecht von Groitzsch erobert. Am 4. September 1631 schlossen hier der König Gustav Adolf von Schweden und der Kurfürst Johann Georg I. von Sachsen das Bündnis gegen den Kaiser und die Liga ab. Im Siebenjährigen Krieg überfielen hier am 29. Oktober 1759 die Preußen unter Fink und Wunsch das Ahrenbergsche Korps und nötigten es zum schleunigsten Rückzug. In Bad Düben verweilte Napoleon I. auf seinem Rückzug von Dresden vom 10. bis zum 14. Oktober 1813.

The Top Place to Visit in Germany!! The Bavarian Alps is Breathtaking and Beautiful. We travel to the town of Bad Hindelang in Bavaria and have a great Bavarian Dinner hosted by the owners of Neuschwansteiner and Hotel Lanig. We arrived in pitch dark so we didn't realize how beautiful of an area we were in until the next morning! Enjoy some drone shots around the Bavarian Alps along with a nice relaxing night at a wellness hotel with a GRAND German Buffet and one of the most comfortable stays ever! Along with going to a wellness spa, you can also ski and do plenty of activities during the snow season in Bad Hindelang in Bavaria as well!

Burg Bad Düben Die Burg Düben, früher auch Dibni, Dewin, Diben, Dybin und Dewen genannt, erhebt sich auf einem kleinen Hügel rechts der Mulde direkt an deren Ufer. Die Burg liegt direkt an der Brücke der B 2 über die Mulde innerhalb der Stadt Bad Düben (Neuhofstr. 3) im Landkreis Nordsachsen.

Bergschiffmühle Bad Düben Urkundlich wurde die Mühle erstmals im Jahr 1686 als „Schiff Mühle auf dem Muldestrohm“ bei Schwemsal erwähnt. Ursprünglich gehörte die Schiffmühle zum Alaunbergwerk, dem heutigen Bad Dübener Stadtteil Alaunwerk, und trug daher den Namen Bergschiffmühle, eine gekürzte Form von Bergwerks-Schiffmühle. Bis 1905 diente sie als Getreidemühle auf der Mulde mit zwei deutschen Mahlgängen und einem Spitzgang. Im Jahr 1905 erfolgte ein Neubau zum schwimmenden Kraftwerk mit 110 Volt Gleichstrom, durch eine elektrische Leitung erfolgte der Antrieb der Mahlwerke im Gehöft des Müllers Paul Griehl. Ein erneuter Umbau in den Jahren 1922 und 1923 ermöglichte einen Transmissionsantrieb zum neu erbauten Mühlengebäude am Muldeufer. Das Muldehochwasser am 10. Juli 1954 zerstörte die Transmission und den Streichzaun der Mühle. Nachdem die Mühleneinrichtung 1955 erneut mit elektrischem Antrieb versehen wurde, konnte der Mühlenbetrieb wieder aufgenommen werden. Durch starken Eisgang auf der Mulde im Jahr 1956 kam es zu weiteren Zerstörungen, worauf der Mühlenbetrieb auf der Mulde eingestellt wurde. Von 1964 bis 1967 erfolgte die Sicherung und der Wiederaufbau der Bergschiffmühle im ehemaligen Wallgraben der Burg Düben und wurde am 6. Oktober 1967 feierlich als technisches Denkmal in Betrieb genommen. Am 13. August 2002[3] stand die Bergschiffmühle aufgrund der Jahrhundertflut vollständig im Wasser. In den Jahren 2002 und 2003 wurde sie mit den alten Getriebeteilen im Bauzustand von 1905 neu im Burggraben der Burg Düben aufgebaut. Seit dem 10. Deutschen Mühlentag im Jahr 2003 dreht sich das große Schaufelrad zu besonderen Anlässen mittels Elektromotor.
