Hi, I am Arijit Kar. Travelling and photography is my passion. The name of my channel is Ghuranchandi, which means travel fanatics. In the journey of my travel life I have got many like minded friend who are a part of Ghuranchandi group. In this channel we have tried to express our feelings about the places that we travel and also has given required information of the place throughout the video.
Rambha is one of the gateways to Chilka Lake. You can spend a few days in the lap of nature and enjoy the pristine beauty of Chilka surrounded by hills. You can also get the taste of virgin sea beach at Bateswar and also find architectural beauty of Oddisi temples in this region. Nearest railway station to reach Rambha is Balugaon. Chilka is rich in flora and fauna. It's rich in population of dolphins and a lot of migratory birds also. The must visit islands from Rambha on boat are - Breakfast Island, Ghantasila Island, Bird's Island or Dinosaur Island and Honeymoon Island.On way from Balugaon to Rambha, you can visit Dakhha Prajapati temple, Bhagabati Mata temple, Jagannath temple, Narayani temple and Nirmal Jhor temple. Bateswar sea beach and Bsteswar temple is not very far off from Rambha. Another entry point of Chilka is Barkul, which is 7km from Balugaon. From Barkul you can travel on boat over Chilka to Kalijayi island to visit Kali Temple there.

Maa Bhagabati mandir. A place of rumours
Banapur Bhagabati is one of the most popular sakti pitha of Odisha. The presiding deity of this revered temple is Goddess Durga locally called as Bhagabati – the idol depicts eight armed Goddess and the chopped head of Mahisasura ( demon) Maa Bhagavati is the presiding deity of Banapur. The present temple and the Jagamohana is believed to have been built by the Gajapati Maharaja of Puri.

Jiripada village is located in Banapur Tehsil of Khordha district in Odisha, India. It is situated 25km away from sub-district headquarter Banapur and 104km away from district headquarter Khordha . As per 2009 stats, Niladriparashad is the gram panchayat of Jiripada village.
The total geographical area of village is 234 hectares. Jiripada has a total population of 235 peoples. There are about 55 houses in Jiripada village. Banapur is nearest town to Jiripada which is approximately 30km away.
The waterfall is situated close to the village inside deep dense forest. It is well accessible from Niladriprasad village. Use google map to reach Niladriprasad and take the help of locals reaching there.
As informed by the villagers, this is a perennial source of water and people access it through out the year for picnic and bathing. But the beauty of this waterfall enhances during rain and winter.
You can also visit to Hatigada waterfall, Birajai temple, Swapneswar temple and Mala Tarini temple while coming to the place.

In This video, I have visited a 13th century Shakti Pitha Known as Bhagabati Temple and 13th Century Shiva Temple Known as Daksha Prajapati Temple , also known as Dakshesvara Shiva Temple in Banapur town and is about 5 kms west of Balugaon, Khordha District on NH16. It is one of the best preserved heritage temple in Odisha and a fine specimen of extraordinary artistic excellence of Kalingan art. This Place is 99 kms from Bhubaneswar.

Visiting Banapur Bhagavati and Ugratara Temple
Banapur is just 5 kms from Balugaon. It is famous for Bhagavati temple. Bhagavati is one of the 12 important devit temples of Orissa. After visiting Kalijai we went to visit the Bhagavati temple of Banapur. It was a great day and we had nice darshan of Goddess Bhagavati. We also bought some Prasad from the temple.
On our way back to Bhubaneswar we halted at Ugratara. Ugratara is about 50 kms from Banapur and about 60 kms from Bhubaneswar. You have to take a 3kms diversion fro the Bhubaneswar Berhampur National highway. Ugratara is another Shakti temple famous for her fierce aspect. But it is believed that she is benevolent to the devotees. It had become evening and dark outside. But there was ample light inside the temple.
