Tony enjoying the wonderfull sound of the amazing Tello Falls (Chute de Tello) at the bottom of a long flight of rough rock steps. The Tello Falls are worth a detour to the east of Ngaoundéré, on the road (or rather the runway) of Bélel. Very spectacular, they offer the spectacle of a 45 m high waterfall behind which a large cave can be accessed by the side of the waterfall. A boukarou makes it possible to observe falls and picnic in peace. During the rainy season, it is better to get there in a 4 x 4 vehicle.
Tello Falls is one of the main natural attractions of the region of Adamawa, North Cameroon. Different from those of Ekom Nkam or Lobe, they are also emblematic and really deserve a visit. The peculiarity lies in the rocky table brutally interrupted the quiet river Tello found that precipitated between 40 and 50 meters below.
This unique geological formation is remarkable because it creates a natural cave behind the falls with an impressive volume. Paths and benches were built to admire the falls from this point of view.
