Amazing forbidden meat in Sudan 🇸🇩 vA 23
I am now in Atbara, and I go to the city center to do some groceries for my cycling way to Khartoum.
I walk around the market, buying some fruits, then I have some delicious Sudanese meat, but for some unknown reason, the guy cocking the meat does not want me to film his meat. Then I continue my walk through a very colorful market, before going back to where I stay, where I meet some friends from my last minibus journey from Karima to Atbara.

Sandstorm in Sudan
Here is a little video of our expedition through beautiful Sudan, just behind Atbara we got surprised by this incredible sandstorm and the world turned dark and yellow!
Naqa Sudan (Camel trip)
Naqa or Naga'a (Arabic: ٱلـنَّـقْـعَـة), ancient city of the Kushitic Kingdom of Meroë, is one of the largest ruined sites in Sudan and was one of the centers of the Kingdom of Meroë, which served as a bridge between the Mediterranean world and Africa. Arriving there during a 10 days camel trip is an unforgettable experience.
The site has two notable temples :
The Temple of Amun, erected in the 1st century AD by King Natakamani, one of Kush’s most prolific monument builders. It follows a traditional Egyptian floor plan of an outer court with a colonnade approaching a hypo style hall containing an inner sanctuary chamber.
The Lion Temple, beautifully preserved classic of Kushite architecture, dedicated to the lion-headed Kushite god Apedemak. The temple is fronted by a massive gateway. To the left and right of the portal are massive carved reliefs of Natakamani and his queen Amanitore in triumphant poses, holding prisoners by the hair. Lions sit at their feet devouring the vanquished.
Close to the Lion Temple, the Roman Kiosk is a showcase for the different influences on Kushite architecture. Its entrance is Egyptian, while the columns and arched windows are Roman in style.
Naqa, with Meroë and Musawwarat es-Sufra, is known as the Island of Meroe, and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
