I Just Arrived In Trinidad Port Of Spain - My First Time In Trinidad
This is a quick intro episode showing my arrival and the journey to my villa, currently staying in an area called Arouca, 10 mins from the airport and 30 mins from the centre of port of spain.
The accomodation is called PineRidge Hideaway and the prices are very reasonable , much better than hotels as they can be very pricey out here. Of course this is if you dont mind self catering and cleaning up after yourself lol.
Best way to get around is by using ride share apps, they dont have UBER here so the best apps to use are aLLRidi which is the cheapest and TTrs which is the next best one and both apps take cash and has the same layout as uber and Lyft. Other private Taxis will over charge you.
The crime here is really bad and not going to sugarcoat it, but as along as you manoeuvre sensibly and safetly, you'll be fine and don't be deterred from visiting this amazing island. The people are generally nice and welcoming.

PARIA HIKE EXPERIENCE • EPISODE 10 ° SEASON 3
The Paria Hike experience will definitely take your breath away.
PARIA BAY
The secluded Paria Beach can be accessed by hiking trail through Blanchisseuse or Matelot, or by boat. The journey provides breath-taking views of stacks, arches, caves and other natural formations along the coastline. The hiking option starts at the Blanchisseuse Spring Bridge and takes adventurers through the North Coast Forest, over uphill climbs and downhill slides, and ends at Paria Bay after approximately two (2) hours. Though some hikers have regarded the hiking level as strenuous, it is doable even for inexperienced hikers and first-timers.
During this coastal hike, travellers will come across a majestic 50ft peninsula known as Turtle Rock. Its name is derived from the green and marine turtles that frequent the surrounding Caribbean Sea. This spot overlooks the coast and is an ideal backdrop for pictures.
Paria Bay is approximately 1.15km long lined with coconut trees that hang over silky smooth sand that becomes a nesting ground for Leatherback Turtles from the months March to September. Though the Bay is not ideal for swimming because waters can get choppy, visitors can immerse themselves in the calming waters at the river’s mouth on the eastern end of the beach.
On the western end of the beach is an arch called Cathedral Arch or Paria Arch. Though the arches were caused by sea erosion, the natural reconstruction is a sight to behold.
Paria is a popular camping location as it is one of the places to experience Trinidad’s raw and natural beauty.

I crossed the intersection of Prince Street and Broadway Street. I continued on Prince Street for a short distance, where the name of the street changes to Tumpuna Road North. I made a left turn onto Churchill Roosevelt Highway at the end of Tumpuna Road North.

Short Hike in the area of Blanchisseuse just off the North Coast Road, in the island of Trinidad which is part of the country Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean. I am with my children so it is a go slow... but I cover some tips about what you might expect to see if you visit a typical tropical forest in Trinidad.
