It is blessed with picturesque beauty, with the Lidder River flowing closeby, and is famous for its sightseeing opportunities, as it is surrounded by snowcapped mountains. Chandanwari is covered in snow from November till May, and you can watch the lovely sight of glaciers melting in the Lidder River.
