Almelo is a municipality and a city in the eastern Netherlands. The main population centres in the town are Aadorp, Almelo, Mariaparochie, and Bornerbroek.
Almelo has about 72,000 inhabitants in the middle of the rolling countryside of Twente, with the industrial centres of Enschede and Hengelo as close neighbours but also with tourist towns like Ootmarsum, Delden and Markelo only a bicycle ride away. Almelo received city rights in 1394. Within the city limits lies the castle of the Counts of Almelo.
Located in the city centre is Huize Almelo, a castle that in its current form dates back to 1662 (This castle is not open to the public). There are mosaics which decorate the walls of the tunnel close to the railway station.
The city is also known for its local association football club Heracles Almelo, which plays in the Eerste divisie, the second highest football league in the Netherlands. The club uses the Erve Asito.

Landal De Lommerbergen ligt op één van de mooiste plekjes aan de Maas in Limburg. De omgeving is heuvelachtig en bosrijk en nodigt daarmee het hele jaar door uit tot vermaak in de buitenlucht. Met 500 accommodaties is dit bosrijke vakantiepark één van de grotere vakantieparken van Landal GreenParks. Vertier is er dan ook genoeg op dit park in Reuver. Kinderen kunnen capriolen uithalen op het avontureneiland, in het indoorspeelparadijs of het subtropisch zwemparadijs. Het golfslagbad, de meterslange glijbanen en het Kids Junglebad zorgen voor urenlange waterpret.
Op het multifunctioneel sportveld, de Sports Arena kun je het nog altijd populaire muur trappen spelen in een nieuw jasje. De muur heeft 16 lichtgevende vlakken die meten als je raakt trapt of gooit. De bowlingbanen met LED verlichting die verschillende animaties op de banen weergeven zijn uniek in Europa en zorgen voor een kleurrijke en spectaculaire beleving. The black structure is a Salt House used to get salt from the ground.
The city hall is modelled after Florence, after WW2. Hengelo was heavily bombed because of its industry.

Und um eine Reise zu planen, Videos in hoher Qualität 4k über die Niederlande aufgenommen, nämlich über die schönen Provinzen, wo Aufnahmen von Sehenswürdigkeiten, schönen Orten aus der Vogelperspektive (Drohne) aufgenommen werden, das Video vermittelt das lebendigste Bild und Sie können viele Schönheiten sehen.
allgemeine Informationen
Overijssel ist eine weitere Provinz der Niederlande, die im östlichen Teil liegt und an Deutschland grenzt, daher ist die Wirtschaft hier sehr gut entwickelt, es gibt einen großen Bahnhof und Flughafen, der jedoch nur für Inlandsflüge funktioniert. Der Tourismus in der Region ist noch unterentwickelt, aber für ein paar Tage Aufenthalt kann man etwas unternehmen.
Hauptstadt
Die Hauptstadt Zwolle liegt historisch gesehen in einem sumpfigen Gebiet an den Ufern der IJssel und des Zwarte Water und mit einer großen Anzahl von Brücken. Außerdem ist die Stadt ein großer Eisenbahnknotenpunkt, der der zweitgrößte im ganzen Land ist, aber gleichzeitig fahren nur Busse und Taxis durch die Stadt, und es gibt keine anderen Verkehrsmittel für die Einwohner.
Klima
So seltsam es auch klingen mag, aber in Holland ist das Wetter so regnerisch und wechselhaft, dass es mit sonnigen Tagen überrascht. Aber in der Provinz Overijssel ist das Klima warm, gemäßigt, die Durchschnittstemperatur beträgt +10-15 Grad, im Sommer steigt sie auf +22. Die Regenzeit beginnt am Ende des Sommers - Mitte September, und in diesem Moment regnet es ständig heftig. Der Winter kommt weich, angenehm, die Temperatur sinkt auf +4-6 Grad.

Die Naturschönheiten von Overijssel sind reich genug für Einheimische und Touristen. Jeder kann diese Orte besuchen:

We verbleven voor een weekendje in Preston Palace in Nederland, niet ver van Almelo. We maakten van de gelegenheid gebruik om een wandelingetje en bezoekje te brengen aan deze stad.
Almelo is een stad met veel gezichten en een stad met karakter. Een tikkeltje eigenzinnig, gesierd met de Twentse nuchterheid en zeer gastvrij. Almelo is een bijzondere mengeling van oud en nieuw.Almelo was ooit het bloeiend centrum van de Twentse textielindustrie. In Almelo is er altijd wat te doen ! Voor alle leeftijden is er Preston Palace; een uniek hotel en uitgaanscentrum met vele faciliteiten onder één dak. U kunt één- of meerdaagse arrangementen boeken, er is o.a. een subtropisch zwemparadijs en een indoor kermis.

We stayed for a weekend at Preston Palace in the Netherlands, not far from Almelo. We took the opportunity to take a walk and visit this city.(28-10-2019)
Almelo is a city with many faces and a city with character. A tad self-willed, adorned with the sobriety of Twente and very hospitable. Almelo was once the thriving centre of the textile industry in Twente. There's always something to do in Almelo! For all ages, there's Preston Palace; a unique hotel and entertainment centre with many facilities under one roof. You can book one-day or multi-day packages, and there is a subtropical swimming paradise and an indoor fun fair, among other things.
