Seetpur is a small and isloated town in Muffargarh. It is located at distance of 103 Km from Muzaffargarh city. Seetpur is situated in Tehsil Alipur of District Muzaffargarh. Other important tourist points in Muzaffargarh is Head Panjnad. At Head Panjnad, all 5 Rivers of Paunjab meet and form Panjnad River. Panjnad River latter joins Indus River near Seetpur in Distt Muzaffargarh. The Five rivers of punjab which meet at Head Panjnad are Chenab River, Jehlum River, Ravi River, Satluj River and Bias River. Therefore Head Punjnad is also called Junction of 5 Rivers of Punjab. The other famous viaiting points in Distt Muzaffargarh are Alipur Tehsil, Masjid Sakina tu Sughra Jatoi, Ghazanfargarh Fort, Shahgarh Fort, Khunpur Bagga sher Tomb, Sheikh Sadan Shaheed tomb, Head Mohammad Wala, Head Taunsa and Mehmoodkot fort.
The road which connects Muzaffargarh City and Seetpur is perfectly fine also some patches are not that good but after Khangarh it's very fine towards Alipur. Seetpur may also be approached from Motorway M4. Uch Sharief interchange is the nearest interchange with 42 km distance. Take an exist from Uch Sharief and go to Head Panjnad and then to Alipur. Seetpur is 18km from Alipur.

The river has a total drainage area exceeding 1,165,000 km2 (450,000 sq mi). Its estimated annual flow stands at around 243 km3 (58 cu mi), twice that of the Nile River and three times that of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers combined, making it one of the largest rivers in the world in terms of annual flow.[4] The Zanskar is its left bank tributary in Ladakh. In the plains, its left bank tributary is the Panjnad which itself has five major tributaries, namely, the Chenab, Jhelum, the Ravi, the Beas, and the Sutlej. Its principal right bank tributaries are the Shyok, the Gilgit, the Kabul, the Gomal, and the Kurram. Beginning in a mountain spring and fed with glaciers and rivers in the Himalayan, Karakoram and Hindu Kush ranges, the river supports ecosystems of temperate forests, plains and arid countryside.
The northern part of the Indus Valley, with its tributaries, forms the Punjab region, while the lower course of the river is known as Sindh and ends in a large delta. The river has historically been important to many cultures of the region. The 3rd millennium BC saw the rise of a major urban civilization of the Bronze Age. During the 2nd millennium BC, the Punjab region was mentioned in the hymns of the Hindu Rigveda as Sapta Sindhu and the Zoroastrian Avesta as Hapta Hindu (both terms meaning seven rivers). Early historical kingdoms that arose in the Indus Valley include Gandhāra, and the Ror dynasty of Sauvīra. The Indus River came into the knowledge of the West early in the Classical Period, when King Darius of Persia sent his Greek subject Scylax of Caryanda to explore the river, c. 515 BC.
The Indus River provides key water resources for Pakistan's economy – especially the breadbasket of Punjab province, which accounts for most of the nation's agricultural production, and Sindh. The word Punjab means land of five rivers and the five rivers are Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas and Sutlej, all of which finally flow into the Indus. The Indus also supports many heavy industries and provides the main supply of potable water in Pakistan.

Head Panjand Alipur
Panjnad River is a river in Muzaffargarh district in Punjab, Pakistan. Panjnad River is formed by successive confluence or merger of the five rivers of the Punjab, namely Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas and Sutlej.
Jhelum and Ravi join Chenab, Beas joins Sutlej, and then Sutlej and Chenab join to form Panjnad, 10 miles north of Uch Sharif in Muzaffar Garh district. The combined stream runs southwest for approximately 44 miles and joins the Indus River at Mithankot. The Indus river continues and then drains into the Arabian Sea. A barrage on Panjnad has been erected; it provides irrigation channels for Punjab and Sindh provinces south of the Sutlej and east of the Indus rivers.
