Naderi Street is one of the old streets of Ahvaz and is covered on both sides with rows of shops and various shops and peddlers that cover the sidewalk and the street. Naderi can be considered the busiest place for the middle class of Ahvaz and of course students; The perfect place to shop and enjoy a warm and passionate day. At the beginning of Naderi Street and Naderi Bazaar, where it reaches Naderi Bridge, you can see one of the most famous food shops in Ahvaz.
خیابان نادری از آن خیابانهای قدیمی اهواز به‌شمار می‌رود و از هر دو طرف با ردیف‌هایی از مغازه‌ها و فروشگاه‌های متنوع و دستفروش‌هایی که سرتاسر پیاده‌رو خیابان را گرفته‌اند، پوشیده شده است. نادری را شاید بتوان شلوغ‌ترین محل حضور طبقه متوسط اهواز و البته دانشجویان دانست؛ محلی مناسب برای خرید و لذت بردن از یک روز گرم و پرشور. ابتدای خیابان نادری و بازار نادری، جایی که به پل نادری می‌رسد، می‌توانید یکی از معروفترین اغذیه‌فروشی‌های اهواز را ببینید.

8. Choqa Zanbil
Chogha Zanbil is an ancient Elamite complex in the Khuzestan province of Iran. Chogha in Bakhtiari means hill. It is one of the few existent ziggurats outside of Mesopotamia. It lies approximately 42 km (26 mi) south-southwest of Dezfoul, 30 km (19 mi) west of Susa and 80 km (50 mi) north of Ahvaz.

Ahvaz or Ahwaz is a city in the southwest of Iran, and the capital of Khuzestan province. At the 2011 census, its population was 1,112,021 and its built-up area with Sheybany was home to 1,136,989 inhabitants. Iran's only navigable river, Karun passes by the middle of the city. It has a long history dating back to the Achaemenid period. In the ancient times, it had been one of the main centers of the Academy of Gondishapur. It is home to several universities, institutions, prominent companies and sports clubs. In Iran, it is known for its ethnic diversity. it is home to Persians, Lurs, Iranian Arabs, Jews, Iranian Armenians and Mandaeans, hence different languages are spoken in it although the lingua franca remains Persian.

Jago 297| Enjoying Ahvaz, The Capital of Khuzestan, Otherwise Known as Arabistan
On the 167th day I left for Ahvaz, the largest city in Iran closest to Basra, Iraq.
In the morning I parted ways with my older sister because she was going to continue her journey to Bandar Lengeh to take a ferry to Dubai. Meanwhile I took the night bus to Ahvaz. I was still accompanied by Duke, my comrade in arms from China who had accompanied me since I was in Afghanistan. Our plan was to cross to Iraq together.
On the morning of the 168th day we went straight to Hotel Iran. In Ahvaz there were no cheap hostels. Luckily we were able to take a room for 3 people so we could share the cost. There was one more acquaintance from China who would join us.
Luckily, at 8 am we were able to check in without additional costs. For breakfast, we only paid $2 for the hotel buffet, which had a good food selection.
After resting all day (sleeping on the night bus for 10 hours was uncomfortable because the bus was too cold), in the afternoon we went out to see the city of Ahvaz.
We walked to The Reef, a restaurant located on an artificial island in the middle of the Karun River, the longest river in Iran.
The was a large selection of food to choose from and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately the food felt mediocre for the price paid. It was a bit expensive, perhaps because of its prime location, right in front of the Seventh Bridge, which has the largest artificial waterfall in the Middle East.
For tomorrow, I planned to continue my journey to the Iraqi border in the hope of getting a visa at the border.

AHVAZ IRAN | Walking over The Tabi'at Bridge on Karun River | پل طبیعت اهواز
This bridge connects two major and big park of Ahvaz, the beach park and Laleh Park, which are located on both sides of the river, and is one of the attractions of the city of Ahvaz. The Ahvaz nature bridge is 500 meters long and 5 meters wide on the Karun River of Ahvaz. The bridge was originally built from neglected capacities in Ahvaz, which was carried out by the water pipelines on the Karun River with a minimum of time. The taste and involvement of the aesthetic sense has become an unusual attraction of the nature of Ahvaz, which connects the two major and important parks of the city and is attended by visitors and lovers of walks in the pleasant and springy weather of Ahwaz during the days of Nowrouz. It is a new-build Footbridge over Karun River. it has some benches along it to sit and relax. there are two parks in both ends of bridge. very good for photographing recommended to visit specially in evening or early morning.
