When you are in Paris, eating in french restaurants can become very expensive. Especially in the center of Paris, where all the tourists attractions are located. But there are many options to eat cheap. And to make it fun, we challenged ourselves to eat delicious french food for less than 5 euro. It was really fun and we could see that there are plenty of options at this price. We tasted croissant, pie, crepes, croque-monsieur, french sandwich and eclair pastry. At the same time, we walked around Paris and went to mouffetard street, the pantheon, notre dame and more.

Welcome to the Latin Quarter, one of the oldest parts of Paris located in and around the 5th arrondissement here on the Left Bank south of the river Seine. It’s a place full of culture, history and some of the most unmissable highlights in the French capital. It takes its name from the students of the Middle Ages speaking Latin, the language of the educated scholars, roaming the streets around the Sorbonne University behind me.
