2 days ago, I went on the most insane 24 hour visa-run to Hong Kong -- where I budgeted myself $100USD to see how much fun I could have. I was nonstop eating, partying and exploring -- you seriously won't believe how many things I did and bought for under $100!
My adrenaline is still rolling as I've been editing this video (which took me 15+ hours)... I love Hong Kong!

Welcome to THE SEYCHELLES -- my 139th country!
This tiny African island nation in the middle of the Indian Ocean is most famous for its picture-perfect beaches and world-class resorts. But you all know what beaches and resorts look like... so I wanted to show you the opposite side of the Seychelles -- the local life -- which I came to realize is very minimal. The capital city (town) of Victoria has merely 25,000 people, making it the smallest capital in Africa and one of the smallest in the world.
The Seychelles is also VERY EXPENSIVE, so making this video was quite hard... But nonetheless, join me in my 15th episode of this series to see 'how much you can get with $10 USD' in the Seychelles.

One Day in St. Kitts & We DON'T have an Excursion! | How to Still have an Awesome Day in St. Kitts
Our first port on our cruise itinerary was St. Kitts and we didn't have an excursion. Don't have an excursion and are worried about what you're going to do at the cruise port St. Kitts?
You have nothing to worry about! We didn't have an excursion and we still had a blast. All of our traventuring only cost 7$ per person for taxis to and from the beach.
What to do in Saint Kitts when you don't have an excursion is check out Basseterre and hit the beach. For a small taxi fee we spent a ton of time on the beach, went snorkeling and had an AMAZING experience.
Traventures are amazing because you never know what's going to happen. When you don't have an excursion in St. Kitts, you get the blessing of having an unpredictable day. Ours was a blast and made our Saint Kitts Traventure even more exciting!
ABOUT US:
We are the Taylors and we LOVE to travel. Even though we have 3 kids and it is hard to travel with kids, we do it anyways because nothing can replace the amazing experiences we get to have together as a family!
Traveling with kids is something we have a lot of practice with. Our first child flew on 23 flights before she was 6 months old. On the 23rd flight, someone asked us if this was our infant's first flight. Every time we go on a trip, our kids' favorite part is usually the hotel pool, but we still do it anyways.
We have gotten to visit Italy, China, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong, Macau, Mexico, Switzerland, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Antigua, Taiwan, Singapore internationally and sixteen states in the United States including Alaska. We hope to visit MANY, MANY more places.

Over the last 10 months, I've made 5 episodes of How Much Fun Can You Have with $100 in 24 Hours — in Hong Kong, Barcelona, Istanbul, Dubai and Bali. All 5 destinations were long layovers of about 24 hours, and I truly had a blast filming each video — it's a marathon every time!
Here is a compilation of all 5 videos in chronological order, where you can see how many things I bought for just $500 USD. I think you'll notice a HUGE difference in video quality (i.e editing) from the first episode in Hong Kong, to the most recent one in Bali :)
To sum it up in words, I got the following items for $500:

**Watch until the end to see how I almost didn't make it legally into Istanbul**
A few days ago, I spent the wildest 24 hours in Istanbul and budgeted myself with $100 to see how much fun I could have in the city.
This was my 4th visit to Istanbul, and every time I go back, I love it more and more. It might be the most electric and vibrant city in the world.
This is the 5th sequel to my “$100 in 24 Hours” series — but I think it’s the best one because Istanbul is MUCH cheaper than the previous few cities (Hong Kong and Barcelona)... The affordability enabled me to go ALL OUT on a $100 budget — kebabs, kumpir, coffee, baklava, tea, shisha, Efes beer and TONS MORE!
Lastly, the fact that I got into Istanbul, Turkey is a MIRACLE ... Have you heard about the Turkey/USA mutual visa ban?! Just 3 hours before my plane arrived in Istanbul (literally), all U.S citizens were banned from visiting Turkey indefinitely (the Turkish government mimicked the U.S.'s ban last week which prohibited Turkish citizens from entering the USA). I read this news while sitting on the runway in Tel Aviv, and I was so nervous that I was gonna get detained, deported and/or questioned by the Turkish immigration, but I made it in safely!!! I think I was the last American to get a visa on arrival. I hope this stupid visa ban goes away, and both U.S. and Turkish citizens are able to visit each other's country again. I hate politics.

Spending $100 in BARCELONA in 24 Hours?! What Can You Get?
Do you LOVE BARCELONA as much as I do? It's one of the best cities in Europe!
I just went on the craziest, 24 hour adrenaline rush around Barcelona, seeing 'how much fun I can have with $100. Barcelona is NOT a cheap city by any means, but you won't believe how many things I did/bought this time around (sangria.. paella.. tapas, anyone?)
This is my 2nd time in Barcelona, and I can say with absolute certainty that it's one of the most electric cities in Europe.

Somewhere in the Solomon Islands, a giant gold mine was discovered in 1997. At the time, the locals had no idea how to properly mine gold... and now, about 3,000 people are making a VERY healthy living doing it.
From what I have seen today, digging for gold all day in this humidity (and heavy rain) is EXTREMELY difficult, but the best ones are making up to $3,000 a day. For all you math wizards, that's over 1 million dollars a year.
