Zakopane lies near Poland's border with Slovakia, in a valley between the Tatra Mountains and Gubałówka Hill. It can be reached by train or bus from the province capital, Kraków, about two hours away. Zakopane lies 800–1,000 meters above sea level and centers on the intersection of its Krupówki and Kościuszko Streets.

Poniżej mały przewodnik, co widać na filmie :-) Tak więc na początku można zobaczyć wspaniałego i pionowego Mnicha z wspinaczami próbującymi dostać się na szczyt. Następnie ścieżka prowadząca na Szpiglasową Przełęcz, a stamtąd do Szpiglasowego Wierchu z pięknymi widokami dookoła. Dalej znajduje się Dolina 5 Stawów Polskich z krystalicznie czystą wodą i schronisko PTTK, w którym po długim spacerze można spróbować bardzo smacznego polskiego tradycyjnego jedzenia i zimnego piwa lub grzanego wina. Wreszcie filmik zabierze Cię na Kasprowy Wierch, jedno z najpopularniejszych miejsc turystycznych w kraju. Na szczyt można dotrzeć kolejką linową lub jednym z kilku pięknych szlaków. Oprócz niewiarygodnych widoków można znaleźć restaurację oraz obserwatoria meteorologiczne i astronomiczne. Kasprowy Wierch jest również znany jako jeden z głównych zimowych terenów narciarskich w Polsce. Tatrzański Park Narodowy jest przez wielu uważany za najpiękniejszą część Polski. Gorąco polecam odwiedzić Tatry i zimową stolicę Polski, Zakopane !!!
EN Welcome! This video is aerial footage of few places from stunning Tatra Mountains in Poland. Below little guide what you can find in this video :-) So at the beginning you can see magnificent and vertical Mnich (The Monk) with numbers of climbers trying to reach the summit. Then path that goes to Szpiglasowa Przełęcz and from there to Szpiglasowy Wierch with great views around. Next is Dolina 5 Stawów Polskich (The Valley of Five Polish Lakes) with it's crystal clear waters and PTTK Mountain Hut where you can try very tasty Polish traditional food and nice cold beer or mulled wine after long walk. Finally video will take you to Kasprowy Wierch, one of top tourist spots in the country. You can reach summit by cable car or by one of few fine paths. On top except unbelievable views you can find restaurant and meteorological and astronomical observatories. Kasprowy Wierch is also known as one of Poland's main winter ski areas. Tatra National Park is considered by many as the most beautiful part of Poland. I highly recommend visiting Tatras and winter capital of Poland, Zakopane!!!

Within the administrative boundaries of the city, there is a part of the Tatra Mountains with the highest point being the summit of Swinica at 2301 meters above sea level. Zakopane is located in the Undertatras Trench, bordered to the north by the massif of Gubalowka, and to the south by the Tatra Mountains. It is also an ideal place for mountain enthusiasts seeking not only beautiful views but also interesting tourist attractions. The town has around 30 thousand residents, but during the peak season, it can host up to 250 thousand holidaymakers. But that's not all! The area is home to the Tatra National Park, which includes the popular Morskie Oko among its attractions (a walk from this location is also available on this channel) and can be visited by up to 3 million tourists annually.
The walk begins from the nearby Gubalowka mountain, offering a breathtaking panorama of Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains. It then leads through the city's most popular places like Krupowki, concluding the excursion at the famous 'Wielka Krokiew' ski jump, where the annual Ski Jumping World Cup competitions take place.
