Heidi 是一個永恆的童話，故事充滿人情味，作者是瑞士女作家約翰娜·施皮里（Johanna Spyri，1827年—1901年）於1880～1881年所發表的德文小說《海蒂》系列。1852年，Johanna Heusser與Bernhard Spyri結婚。 Bernhard 是一名律師。 在蘇黎世市生活的同時，她開始寫這個國家的生活。 她的婚姻不太快樂，她對枯燥的家庭生活不感興趣，丈夫太忙，又時常出外公幹。她母親的一位朋友，來自德國Bremen的牧師 Conelius Rudolf Vietor (1814-1897) ，鼓勵她寫作。
