The Mambilla or Mambila people of Nigeria live on the Mambilla plateau (in 'Sardauna' local government area of Taraba State in Nigeria). A small fraction of Mambilla migrants left the Mambilla Plateau for the Ndom Plain (also known as the Tikar Plain) on the Cameroon side of the international border as well as in a couple of small villages, such as New Namba, further north towards the towns of Gashaka and Banyo. The preferred ethnonym is spelt Mambila in Cameroon and Mambilla in Nigeria. Norr is also used (the word for person in Nigerian dialects of Mambilla).
mambilla people are one of the unique culture in Africa they are bantu who remain home following the great bantu split.
The Common Mambilla or Tungbo Dialect is the most widely understood Mambila dialect in Nigeria. It is also the literary language of Mambilla for the vast majority who inhabit the Mambilla Plateau. The Mambila New Testament known as 'Li Fa' and several Mambilla Language study texts are written in the Common Mambilla dialect for Nigeria. A New Testament in Ju Ba is also available for speakers of Cameroonian dialects.

The Nigeria RIVER BANK People - Part 1
The people you find by this benue river bank are predominantly Jukun people.
The Jukun are traditionally located in Taraba, Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau, Adamawa, and Gombe States in Nigeria and parts of northwestern Cameroon.
It is believed that the Jukuns are descendants of the people of Kororofa, one of the most powerful Sudanic kingdoms during the late European Middle Ages.
The Jukuns are divided into two major groups; the Jukun Wanu and Jukun Wapa.
This ones here are mostly the Jukun Wanu who are fishermen residing along the banks of the river Benue.
Am told that they speak a language of the Benue-Congo branch, but I also think many of them speak hausa as well.
The river Benue sems to be the primary source of livelihood.
The riverbank seems to also be a refuse dump and boof site, as the whole place is lilted with dirt, despite the fact that many of the people who live around here using the water for cooking and sometimes for drinking too.
However as I sat and observed how carefree and happy the kids and most of the people where, despite their not so great condition, it rememder me that true happiness those not comes from the possession of material things.
Sometimes it is the simple things of life that helps you to appreciate God for your own life.
