► WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉

Villanueva State Park - New Mexico State Park
Villanueva State Park - New Mexico State Park
Villanueva State Park was the Two Tired Teachers final New Mexico State Park. Located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, it seemed the perfect park to go to either or both cities.
The campsites are well shaded on the level where we stayed. The ones up higher have fewer or no trees. The picnic tables are covered with adobe structures to keep the sun off.
This pretty park is made up of several small loops. Unlike many TX state parks, the loops may have some sites with water and electricity, some with water only, and some with no hook ups. The campsites on the bluff have water nearby. And one loop is for tent camping.
Trails run throughout Villanueva State Park. A nice easy trail runs through the campground to the Pecos River, which runs through the park.. The trail on the mountain side of the park is more strenuous and the elevation does increase as you climb up the trail. Other trails are also in the park.
The park does have a playground with swings and a slide. It also has structures that kids can climb on.
The town of Villanueva is very small. A store is in town, but it looked as if the supplies would be limited. Be sure you have adequate supplies because the nearest town is probably an hour away.
One word of caution is about the drive to the park. One part of the small road is extremely winding. That part is only about a mile and a half long, but it feels much longer.
A sign on I 40 directs you to the exit and to the park. The Two Tired Teachers enjoyed our time at Villanueva State Park in Villanueva, New Mexico.
Utah RV Trip Stop 5: RVing Villanueva State Park, Villanueva, New Mexico
Villanueva State Park in Villanueva, New Mexico was our 5th stop during our trip to Utah and Colorado ... we spent two days here hiking and relaxing ... last time we were here was a year ago ... this is a beautiful park situated on the Pecos River (which was full and moving quick) ... the Pecos feeds the Rio Grande which could use some water! The park has a really nice and unique trail system that runs along the cliffs ... and the park is about 20-25 miles off the beaten path, so a good stop if you're looking to get away from noise!

One of our favorite places in Cozumel is Punta Sur Ecological Park. Take a look and you’ll see why! Punta Sur offers something for everyone – adventure, history, and culture, beach clubs, tequila tasting, and snorkeling! There is so much to see and learn here and is easy to do as a cruise ship excursion on your own. Just be wary of time so you aren’t one of those pier runners! There is limited cell service here but beach clubs do accept credit cards. Punta Sur is sure to surprise and delight you!
