BEST Neighborhood in Valencia, Spain (the ONE place I would live in)

📖 Discover Valencia: Your Essential Guide to Living and Loving Life in Spain

Number 1 Neighborhood in Valencia to Live

OK, I have lived in many neighborhoods in Valencia, Russafa, Gran Via, El Carmen, Penya Roja, to name a few. It is very personal and all neighborhoods have their own beauty and character, BUT for me this one checks a lot of boxes- Gran Via. It has beautiful buildings, cozy wine shops, several international and local restaurants, great shopping as well as quiet streets. I dont understand why tourists dont stay at this neighborhood. Yes, it doesnt have major historic monuments but it is close to everything, so once you see all the top sites you need a place more functional. Gran Via is so convenient and chic I just love it.

Let me know which is your favorite neighborhood in Valencia!

2 Days in Valencia Spain? Travel Vlog 🇪🇸 [HD]

Remember to SUBSCRIBE to my channel! Originally a Roman colony and once the capital of Spain, Valencia is currently Spain's third-largest city. It's the birthplace of paella and is allegedly home to the Holy Grail itself. It is the third-largest city in Spain, but not yet overrun by tourists such as other cities like Barcelona or Madrid. Valencia is a safe and small city best known for its stunning beaches, unique architecture, and mouth-watering Spanish cuisine. This city is packed with exciting things to see and do.

With three UNESCO Sites, one of the largest markets in Europe, and the massive City of Arts and Science complex, it's a great place to spend a few days - even if you aren't going to La Tomatina!

Tips:
= It is customary to leave a tip in bars and restaurants - about 10-15% is fine.
= Valencia is a friendly city, so don't be afraid to ask for directions.
= There are few public toilets here, but you can use the services in the bars or department stores.
= Most restaurants and bars are child-friendly.
= The public transport here is safe and quick, although walking in Valencia is easy and gives you a better sense of the city.
= To avoid long queues, try to book the more popular attractions in advance.
= The Valencia Tourist Card offers discounts to many attractions plus free public transport.
= It is a busy city, so keep a close eye on your belongings, I did have my backpack snatched up while I was dining outdoor.

Valencia, Spain most beautiful places
Valencia is full of picturesque landscapes, historical sightseeing, and admiring views. When visiting the county, a traveler plunges into the atmosphere of relaxation and joy. This is the place when time stops, and a person can admire a lovely pastime.Valencia is rich in adorable views. These include natural parks and gardens, historical monuments, and spectacular art pieces. The country is the place that managed to successfully combine the heritage of nature and history with modern buildings. Thus, each tourist will find sightseeing to his/her taste.

Various famous locations have different styles. Here, you can observe either urban jungles or rural landscapes. When you pass along the streets of a city, you admire the sophisticated architecture of different epochs. The country has preserved historical monuments related to different centuries. Thus, the place will be interesting either for ancient or modern architecture fans. Nature lovers can visit a national park. After an intensive excursion in the city, a tourist can have rest sitting in a shady alley and admiring the picturesque nature.

The capital of the state is not the only place that is worth a traveler’s attention. If you come to the country for several days, do not stay in the city through your holidays. Leave a day or even two to visit the suburbs. You’ll open a completely different view to yourself. You’ll feel the taste of freedom and unity with nature. Mountains, plains, and cliffs will leave you speechless. When staying at the foot of a mountain or on the edge of a precipice, admiring landscapes will make you hold your breath.

This is what you can see in the video. Observing the territory from the bird’s eye view is the most memorable pastime. Our drone has shot the most admiring places in the country. If you’re going to visit the state, do not skip an opportunity to visit to the highest point of the state (for example, climb a mountain, go to an observation deck). You’ll observe the same views in reality but your feelings will be one hundred times stronger. Believe that this activity won’t leave you indifferent. Emotions will overwhelm you.

Valencia best places to visit:
City of Valencia
City of Alicante
City of Benidorm
City of Torrevieja

Numerous cafes, restaurants, cinemas, night clubs for going out at night;
City tours and excursions to local attractions;
Museums, galleries, exhibitions;
Sunbathing under sunlight;
Renting a yacht and making a voyage across a local reservoir;
Visiting craft farms and finding out secrets of local production;
Getting acquainted with local traditions and customs.

The list of offered activities is not complete. Each traveler has different priorities, aims, and tastes. Thus, there is no single guide on where to go. Everyone decides for him-/herself where to go and what to see. Valencia has a great variety of options. The country is ready to please different travelers and offers exciting ways to spend a weekend. Pick the most suitable ones according to your interests and preferences. When choosing the place to live in during a trip, travelers have a choice between several options. These are a comfortable hotel in the city, a room in a guest house, a cozy country house, a bungalow near a reservoir. Everything is done so that to satisfy each visitor and provide him/her with the desired facilities.

To draw the line, make sure that Valencia is the place you must visit in your life to discover another reality and meet people that stick to other traditions, customs, and believes. == About Us ==
We’re Matt & Nat, a part-time, non-remote travel couple based out of Nashville, TN.

We launched in 2021 by visiting all 50 US states & documented our entire journey on our Blog & here on YouTube! After spending a full year focused on such a defined goal, 2022 left us feeling a little lost & wondering What's next?. We continued traveling & creating vlogs but always with the What's next? question lingering. During one of our trips, we came across the book “1,000 Places to See Before You Die” & were immediately drawn in by it & knew that it had to be a part of our adventures. So, in January 2023 we officially launched our “1,000 Places To See Before You Die” series where we’ve set out to see as many of the “1,000 Places To See Before You Die”… before we die!

We hope you’ll join us on the adventure & find some adventures of your own along the way! And remember... It’s better to see something once (even if only for a moment) than to hear about it a thousand times.

Valencia Port #travel #drone #valencia

The Port of Valencia has a long and rich history dating back to 1483 when King Ferdinand the Catholic granted Antoni Joan the privilege of building a wooden bridge on the beach of the Grao district. Over the centuries, the port has undergone various construction projects and improvements, but its true success began in the 19th century with the granting of trading privileges with other kingdoms and sovereign states. Today, the port is the fifth busiest in Europe and the busiest in the Mediterranean, handling an annual cargo traffic of around eighty-one million tonnes and 5.4 million TEU.

Apart from its impressive shipping capabilities, the Port of Valencia is also a significant employer in the area, providing jobs for over 15,000 people who work tirelessly to service the more than 7,500 ships that come through every year. The port's impact is felt not only in Spain but throughout the Mediterranean basin, with its container shipping ranking second after the Port of Piraeus, and annual cargo traffic ranking second in Spain after the Port of Algeciras.

Despite its commercial success, the Port of Valencia also offers visitors an opportunity to explore its rich history and culture. From the wooden bridge of the Grao district to the stunning architecture of the modern-day port, the area is steeped in tradition and has something to offer everyone. Whether you're a history buff, a shipping enthusiast, or simply looking for a vibrant Mediterranean destination, the Port of Valencia is a must-see.
