Doch die Region hat noch mehr zu bieten: Tamina Kallert entdeckt die jahrtausendealte Kultur der zweitgrößten Mittelmeerinsel in der lebendigen Inselhauptstadt Cagliari, aber auch, wo die geheimnisvollen Nuraghen seit Jahrtausenden stehen.
Sie reitet, taucht, klettert und probiert ausgiebig die ursprüngliche sardische Küche. Im Südwesten der Insel wandert sie an der Costa Verde, der grünen Küste. In der Nähe von Mandas lernt sie eine Agriturismo-Anlage kennen – die italienische Version Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof zu machen.
Hirtentradition der Sarden
Die sardische Küche ist bodenständig und geprägt durch die lange Hirtentradition der Region. Bereits vor über 3.000 Jahren sind dort viele beliebte Käsesorten entstanden, wie der Fiore Sardo, übersetzt sardische Blume. Auch der bekannte Pecorino Sardo hat seinen Ursprung auf der Insel. Tamina Kallert unternimmt einen Ausflug zu einem Ziegenhirten, der in einer traditionellen Hütte Ziegenkäse räuchert. Für seine Gäste hat er ein halbes Milchschwein gegrillt und einen typisch sardischen Spieß, der mit Innereien zubereitet wird.
Die Nuraghenkultur
Schon vor 4.000 Jahren gab es auf Sardinien hoch entwickelte Kulturen, die ihre Spuren hinterlassen haben. Besonders interessant und geheimnisvoll sind die Nuraghen, prähistorische Turmbauten, die der Wissenschaft bis heute Rätsel aufgeben. Die Steine sind wie bei Trockenmauern ohne Mörtel aufeinandergestapelt. Man weiß nicht, wofür die Türme vor so langer Zeit errichtet wurden. Aber es gibt heute noch mehrere Tausend solcher Bauwerke auf Sardinien.
Musikalische Steine
Töne erzeugen mit Kalk oder Basalt? Den Stein schwingen lassen, das konnte der sardische Künstler Pinuccio Sciola. 2014 eröffnete er den Giradino Sonoro, seinen Klanggarten in San Sperate. Hier kann man 700 Skulpturen sehen, meterhohe Monolithe, die er auf eine unnachahmliche Art bearbeitet hat. In Deutschland stehen seine Kunstwerke in acht großen Städten.

La Caletta is a small town, a harbour and a tourist destination in Sardinia, Italy. Caletta means a small bay or little harbour. The town is located approximately 50 km south of Olbia, in the administrative territory of Siniscola (province of Nuoro), on the Tyrrhenian coast of the island.
An ancient village of fishermen, its small gulf has been transformed in the 1970s into a touristic harbour, and recently renewed and enlarged. The town (est. 1,000 inhabitants, that become more than 10,000 in Summer) is today deeply dependent on tourism and borders, at its northern side, with San Giovanni, the coastal fraction of Posada.
La Caletta is in front of a well known beach (appr. 10 km of pure white sand) that ends at the small town of Santa Lucia. Local population requires that La Caletta can have in its port a ferry line for the Continent (Italian mainland), and some experiments were practiced a few years ago, that confirmed the potential success of such an eventual initiative, but (also due to the particular administrative competence of an external organ and being part of the port under the authority of the bordering territory of Posada) administrative problems and local rivalries actually stop any further evolution in this sense.

It's a must if you're vacationing in Sardinia in 2023.
La Pelosetta beach is one of the most famous beaches of Stintino, after La Pelosa, and is also one of the most beautiful beaches in northern Sardinia. It is a beach of modest size, surrounded by reefs and rocks, with an almost white, light sandy bottom, quite fine and compact.
Sardinia is a large Italian Mediterranean island with almost 2,000km of coastline, sandy beaches and a mountainous interior criss-crossed by hiking trails. Scattered through the rugged landscape are thousands of nuraghi – mysterious beehive-shaped stone ruins from the Bronze Age. One of the largest and oldest nuraghi is Su Nuraxi in Barumini, which dates from around 1500 BC. dates from.

Mario Casu to mistrz ceramiki z sardyńskiej Siniscola (wschodnie wybrzeże wyspy). Historia związków rodziny Casu z ceramiką sięga 1870 roku, a wszystko zaczęło się od Paolo Casu.
Mario, który kontynuuje rodzinną tradycję, wygląda niemal dokładnie, jak jego ojciec, którego fotografie wiszą w zakładzie Ceramica di Casu.
Słynne ceramiczne kury jego ojca zdobiły najdroższe wille na Costa Smeralda, ale Mario rozpowszechnił ją na całej Sardynii! Teraz spotkamy je w wielu drogich hotelach, pensjonatach i prywatnych domach. Każdy tutaj zna nazwisko Casu.
Precyzja, z jaką wykonuje swoje dzieła jest nadzwyczajna. Sama mam w domu coś od niego, choć to nie kura, ta nie zmieściłaby się w mojej niewielkiej walizce.
Jego zakład jest skromny, a praca, jak widać, wymaga ubrudzenia sobie rąk. Jednak spod tych rąk wychodzą istne cudeńka.
Możecie wpaść do Mario i zobaczyć, jak pracuje. Można też na miejscu kupić jego prace. Zdziwicie się, w jak skromnych warunkach powstają dzieła, które zdobią luksusowe wnętrza. Mario tryska radością i optymizmem. I takich ludzi ja uwielbiam, podziwiam i wspieram.
Nie poznałabym Mario bez wspaniałej Beaty Garncarskiej i jej męża, Claudio Secchi, czyli duetu Sardinia Slow Experience. Jestem im ogromnie wdzięczna!

Orosei is a comune in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 kilometres northeast of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres east of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,148 and an area of 90.4 square kilometres (34.9 sq mi).
The municipality of Orosei contains the frazioni (subdivisions) Sos Alinos and Cala Liberotto. Orosei borders the following municipalities: Dorgali, Galtellì, Onifai, Siniscola. A beautiful city in the Province of Nuoro in the Italan region of Sardinia on the downstream of the Cedrino River giving the name to the Golfo di Orosei. Orosei is one of the most fascinating spots to visit over your holidays in east Sardinia. It’s located about 140 kilometers North East of Cagliari and 30 kilometers East of Nuoro.

The Santa Lucia beach extends close to the small fishing village of the same name, built around a suggestive Aragonese tower of the '500, at the southern end of La Caletta di Siniscola. The coast has a bottom of rocks and pebbles and is bordered by a luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation rich in mastic and juniper. The area is often windswept, which is why the beach is very popular and popular with surfers. The sea is blue, transparent and crystalline, with sloping bottoms ideal for bathing and swimming. In the vicinity of the beach there are also several rocky coves with shallow waters and rich in marine fauna.
To get to the beach of Santa Lucia, once in Siniscola, proceed on provincial number 3, in the direction of Strada Statale 125. Then take the Strada Statale and take the exit on the left for Via La Pineta. Always go straight until you reach the abit center
