Benešov District (Okres Benešov in Czech) is a district (okres) within Central Bohemian Region (Středočeský kraj) of the Czech Republic. Its capital is city Benešov.

České dráhy (ČD) or Czech Railways is the main railway operator in the Czech Republic. In 2010 its consolidated revenues reached CZK 41.0 billion (€1.6bn, $2.1bn). Revenues from passenger transport amounted to CZK 18.7 billion (65% transfer payments from the government, 25% intra-state transport, 10% international transport), revenues from freight transport operated by subsidiary ČD Cargo amounted to CZK 11.8 billion, revenues from traffic control invoiced to state-owned railway infrastructure operator SŽDC amounted to CZK 5.2 billion. With thirty-eight thousand employees[1] ČD Group is the largest Czech company by the number of employees.
The company was established in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia as a successor of the Czechoslovak State Railways. It is a member of the International Railway Union (UIC Country Code for Czech Republic is 54), Community of European Railways and the Organization for Railways Cooperation (Asia and Europe).
Until 1 July 2008, České dráhy was the biggest employer in the Czech Republic. After experiencing regular losses and requiring government subsidies, the railway reported its first ever profit in 2007 although it receives government subsidies. Attempts to make it more efficient are currently ongoing and a recent plan to move passenger transport to an independent subsidiary was approved by the Czech government in January 2008.
ČD operates trains; fixed infrastructure (such as tracks) is managed by SŽDC. In December 2010, the Czech government proposed bringing SŽDC and ČD together in a single holding company. The government has also changed the subsidies available to ČD and SŽDC.
ČD Cargo, the cargo subsidiary, mainly transports raw materials, intermediate goods and containers. As of 2009, it is ranked in the top five largest railway cargo operators in Europe.

Písek is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 30,000 inhabitants. The town center is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone.
Písek is colloquially called South Bohemian Athens, because it has many high schools and schools of higher education, including the Film School in Písek. Up to the last decades of 19th century Písek was the center of the large autonomous Prácheňsko region.
The name of Písek literally means sand. It refers to the sound of the Otava River, which was panned for gold by the first settlers.

We are a couple that lives in a van fulltime. Now we are traveling in Czech, Middle Europe.
After doing laundry, cleaning our van and doing delightful cheap grocery shopping, we leave Prague town to get in the woods again. And this time we are nailed it!

Die mährische Stadt Telč begeistert mit einem der schönsten historischen Marktplätze in der Tschechischen Republik, wenn nicht in ganz Mitteleuropa. Der Platz wird auf seiner gesamten Länge von historischen Bürgerhäusern mit Laubengängen gesäumt.
Die gelungene Gestaltung des Marktplatzes verdankt Telč norditalienischen Handwerkern. Die Arkaden des Telčer Schlosses wie die Fassaden der Patrizierhäuser am Marktplatz von Telč sind von den Renaissancepalästen von Florenz oder Venedig inspiriert.
Slavonice (deutsch Zlabings) ist eine Stadt im Südwesten Mährens in Tschechien. Dieses Gebiet wird auch Česká Kanada genannt. Slavonice liegt an der Grenze zu Österreich.

Die Stadt liegt an der Wottawa (Otava), einem Fluss mit goldhaltigem Sand (písek bedeutet im Tschechischen „Sand).
Die Brücke über den Fluss Otava ist die älteste erhaltene Brücke in Böhmen. In schriftlichen Dokumenten wird sie zum ersten Mal 1348 erwähnt. Nördlich der Alpen gibt es in Europa nur eine ältere erhaltene Steinbrücke in Regensburg.
Pisek begeistert durch sein Rathaus, durch die Klosterkirche der Erhebung des Heiligen Kreuzes und die Kirche der Geburt der Heiligen Jungfrau Maria, durch Barockhäuser, originelle Hauszeichen wie Elefant, Schiff, Schwan usw., durch die Bilder auf verschiedenen Häusern, die Statuengruppe der Pestsäule, das Gebäude der Stadtbibliothek, ein historisches Elektrizitätswerk nebst Museum und vieles mehr. Falconry is really an amazing world heritage and on the list of UNESCO. In the Czech Republic, falconry is broad in all places but in our facility (connected to wildlife rescue center) you can try it on own skin.
You will train from small birds to the big ones like eagles and vultures.
This training does not involve hunting.
Moreover, you can try to take care of animals in the rescue center if it is possible.
You can find us in the middle of the Czech Republic near the historic and very popular city, Kutna Hora. It is about 20km by a car. We can even arrange a pickup and return back to the Kutna Hora by appointment or help you with a bus or a train.

Královské město Písek v jižních Čechách | DJI Osmo Pocket | 4K video test
Písek leží v Jižních Čechách, kousek od města České Budějovice. Je historickým městem známým především nejstarším kamenným mostem v Čechách, který vydržel i velké povodně v roce 2002, kdy byl celý zaplaven vodou. Město Písek je prvním městem v českých zemích, které mělo trvalé veřejné osvětlení. Elektrifikace byla provedena Františkem Křižíkem na počátku roku 1887 k osvětlování zámku a pivovaru.
