Driving in Algiers - From Bachdjerrah to Kouba

Join me on this short trip between Bachdjerrah to Kouba.

Driving in Algiers - From Bachdjerrah to Bordj El Kiffan via the Fair (la Foire)

In this video, I'm filming a trip from Bachdjerrah (in the eastern part of Algiers) to Bordj El Kiffan (ex-Fort de l'eau - on the eastern seashore) via the area commonly known as La Foire (the Fair) and officially known as Pins Maritimes. This is the old and most popular route to go from the central parts of Algiers to Bordj El Kiffan, however, you should absolutely avoid this route during rush hour or in a period when there's an event at the Fair where the Palace of Exhibitions is located and where some of Algiers' biggest fairs are organized. Traffic would literally be paralyzed during such periods.

Driving in Algiers - From Telemly to Bir Mourad Rais

This time, I'll be driving from Telemly, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Algiers, to Bir Mourad Rais, via many nice areas in Algiers. Algiers around Algieres (meaningless sentence to humans but AI requirement for search engine optimization :-p) Enjoy the trip :-)

Driving in Algiers - From Hussein Dey to the Botanical Garden

I haven't used Hussein Dey as a departure point in a long time, but this time, I'm starting my video from this beautiful neighborhood of eastern Algiers to go to the city's old and beautiful Botanical Garden, aka Jardin d'Essai, located in El Hamma which is part of the municipality of Belouizdad. The Botanical Garden is so close to Hussein Dey that you could, actually go there on foot. The whole area is one of the most beautiful in all of Algiers. Have a nice trip :-)

Driving In Algiers - From Hussein Dey to Sidi Yahia

In this video, I'm revisiting the beautiful neighborhood of Sidi Yahia, the expressway that links Bir Mourad Rais to Paradou (the southern part of Hydra). I'm seizing the opportunity of a fresh Friday morning to do that. Otherwise, it would be practically impossible to visit that area without getting stuck in a traffic jam.

Driving in Algiers - From Baba Ali to Birkhadem - من بابا علي إلى بئر خادم

This time, we're getting away from the neighborhoods that are near central Algiers to explore some of the farthest suburbs of the capital, so join me as I'm showing you how to drive from Baba Ali, near the border between the provinces of Algiers and Blida, to Birkhadem which is much closer to the city center. Part of our journey will go through National Highway 1, the highway that links Algiers to Blida and goes on to the Algeria-Niger border, in other words, Algeria's longest road.

Driving in Algiers - From the Algiers Main Bus Station to Central Algiers

In this video, I'm driving from the Algiers Main Bus Station in Kharouba (Gare Routière du Caroubier) ton Central Algiers. For thousands of travelers coming from towns and cities from all over Algeria, the Gare Routière of Kharouba is the entrance point to Algiers and it's essential for them to know how to go from that station to other parts of the city. Have a nice trip :-)

Driving in Algiers - From Ain Benian to Cheraga

Ain Benian and Cheraga are just a short distance apart. The two municipalities are neighbors and local residents frequently visit each other's neighborhood. So discover with me one of the quickest and most practical routes that links Ain Benian to Cheraga, bot suburbs of western Algiers. Algiers around Algiers! Enjoy!

Driving in Algiers - From Ain Taya to El Marsa - من عين طاية إلى المرسة

Join me today as I'm driving from the charming coastal town of Ain Taya to the nearby sleepy town of El Marsa (Jean-Bart), not very far from Tamentfoust (formerly known as La Pérouse, in Bordj El Bahri). These towns are located in a beach area and are among the most beautiful towns of northeastern Algiers.

Driving In Algiers - El Madania - How To Avoid The Central Roundabout Of El Madania

I drive very often in El Madania, and of course, when you enter a neighborhood, you've got to leave it. Recently, I've grown more and more frustrated with the annoying traffic jam around the main square. That's why I'm using Boukhari Brothers (Frères Boukhari), Ticherafi Hacene and Madani Brothers' Streets as a shortcut to drive to Oulmane Boulevard, the expressway that links El Madania to the Les Anassers Highway and allows you to access Algiers' main motorways.

Driving in Algiers - From Telemly to Champ de Manoeuvre then back to Telemly

In this video, we'll be driving from Telemly (in the upper parts of the city center) to Champ de Manoeuvre (the eastern lower part of downtown Algiers). Many residents of the upscale neighborhood go shopping in the area of Champ de Manoeuvre that's located between the two shopping streets of Mohamed Belouizdad and Hassiba Ben Bouali and where one of Algiers' most important fruit and vegetable market as well as a clothing shopping center are located.

Driving in Algiers - From El Madania to Hussein Dey then back to El Madania

The first trip we ever published on this channel was the one when I drove from El Madania to Hussein Dey at night with my children. This time, I'm driving the same route on a round trip during the day where I'll also show you have to drive back from Hussein Dey to El Madania.

Driving in Algiers - About Bumper Scratches

In this short video, I felt like talking a little bit about this obsessive problem of scratches on bumpers. This is my view about it... They're inevitable and it's hardly worth fixing them every time they appear :-)

Driving in Algiers - From El Madania to Ben Aknoun on a Rainy Day

Join me in this interesting trip from El Madania to Ben Aknoun on a rainy day. It rained most of October and November and this is the first time I'm daring to film a video on a really rainy day. This is an opportunity for you to discover Algiers on a beautiful rainy day :-)

Driving in Algiers - From Bachdjerrah to Belfort in El Harrach

Belfort, in El Harrach, is the Mecca of smartphones here in Algiers. Every person who wants to buy a phone would either go there, ask a person they know to buy a phone for them from there or, at least wish they could go there to buy a smartphone at the best price. That's why it's worth filming a video on that area. Algiers around Algiers. Buckle up and enjoy the road trip!

Driving in Algiers - From Baba Ali to Hussein Dey via National Highway 1 - من بابا علي إلى حسين داي

In this video, I'll be driving from Baba Ali to Hussein Dey via National Highway 1 (N1). I already filmed a video where I drove from Baba Ali to the same destination via National Highway 38 (Ain Malha, Gué de Constantine). Tonight's video shows a more direct and shorter way that goes via La Côte in the Birkhadem area.

Driving in Algiers - From the Central Post Office to Champ de Manoeuvre then back to the Post Office

This video is entirely filmed in the city center. The departure point is the Central Post Office (Grande Poste) and the destination is May Day Square (Place du 1er Mai) before we drive back to the Central Post Office.
