8 Reasons Why Americans LEAVE Costa Rica [Why I Left]
The TRUTH about living in Costa Rica: Why do so many Americans leave Costa Rica after moving there? In this video, I explain what causes expats to change their minds about retiring abroad and why I left Costa Rica after 8 years. Some of the initial reasons that people want to move to Costa Rica include the moderate climate, laid back lifestyle, fresh and healthy food, friendly people, beaches, medical tourism, and the low cost of living. But is Costa Rica really a safe and friendly country or is it actually dangerous and expensive? Once they arrive, many people realize that living in Costa Rica wasn't quite what they expected. Unfortunately, that results in people returning home quite soon after arriving.
After helping more than 500 foreigners move to Costa Rica and living there for eight years, this video explains the top reasons why people move back to the USA and why I left, too, so that you know more about what to expect BEFORE you get there. This is the real and sometimes dark truth about living in Costa Rica. What do you think are the biggest pros and cons of living in Costa Rica? Let us know in the comments.

We Hiked the San Ramon Waterfall & RAN OUT OF WATER! +5 Tips for Doing it Better than We Did (Ep.10)
In this week's episode, Siren and Hal hike the Maderas Volcano to get to the San Ramon Volcano.
___________________________________________________________________
If you start from the road the hike is 2.8 miles to the waterfall (4.5 km). We recommend renting a quad and driving the first almost 2 miles to the upper carpark to start at the beginning of the rainforest area as the first 2 miles are the steepest and hottest.
Although we were advised not to drink the water from the waterfall because of the risk of parasites, this volcanic water does supply the entire island, and it's recommended to use a filtered bottle on your hike if you wish to collect water on the way. We would recommend this! Our favorite filtered water bottle is from
5 TIPS FOR HIKING THE SAN RAMON WATERFALL
1. Bring lots of water, or pack a filtering bottle so you can collect water from the waterfall. We each brought a big bottle and ran out very quickly.
2. Take your bike or quad to the upper carpark. Don't walk from the bottom. There's no point. You'll end up needing more water, which means more miles with more weight.
3. Wear hiking or running clothes that are cool and breezy.
4. Wear good shoes for hiking! The bottom portion is all uphill, and then step downhill on the way down, so an ill-fitting pair of shoes will kill you. Trim your toe nails and wear the shoes with a good fit, good traction, and maybe even good ankle support.
5. Get ready! If you're not in reasonable athletic shape, this might be a tough hike. It'll be a LOT easier starting from the upper carpark, but there are areas that are somewhat dangerous where there's very little room to walk, steep drops, you could easily slip on the little rocks in the sand, and the hike in general isn't conducive for those who have any real injuries or are too out of shape for the tougher areas.

Should you go visit Puntarenas Costa Rica?
Puntarenas Costa Rica is an old port town that most tourists skip, but should they? Take a look and decide for yourself.
Si te gustó el video podés suscribirte y darle like y compartirlo me ayudaría mucho.
