SafetyWing (best for younger travelers + digital nomads):

*I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. BUT you cannot purchase SafetyWing WHILE in Canada or USA. You can only purchase once already abroad. Hey Mondo is more expensive but offers a higher level of coverage including plans that have trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Hey Mondo would be the better insurance to use if you need travel medical insurance when applying for a visa. Both companies cover covid. I am an affiliate for both companies, but I pay for my own policies.*

Review: Premium Suite with Spectacular Balcony. This hotel was in (my opinion) the best area of Mexico City. Lots of luxury shopping, restaurants and walking distance to La Condesa and Roma NTE. The hotel was SUPER CLEAN and my room was spacious and very comfortable. The location was amazing, it was out of the way of noise and loud crowds and i honestly do recommend staying here on your visit to this wonderful city!

ABOUT US: We're Andy and Trai, a gay couple living in Mexico with our rescue jackhuahua, Pattie. After meeting in San Francisco and later moving to Chicago, we decided to quit our jobs in 2021, sell everything, and become two gay expats. Since then, we've been traveling the world and documenting our adventures on YouTube and our travel blog. Our current home base is Tulum, Mexico—it's where we got married and decided to build a house. Subscribe for the next chapter in our story and our experience moving to Mexico. We hope our adventures inspire your travels and show you what places are really like if you are thinking about living, working, or retiring abroad.
