Vushtrria është qytet antik por edhe modern, ndodhet në pjesën veriore të Republikës së Kosovës. Vushtrria e sotme më herët është quajtur Viciana apo siç njihet në burimet latine, Vicianum.
Në veri kufizohet me Mitrovicën, në lindje me Besianën, në jug me Kastriotin, në jug-perëndim me Drenasin dhe në perëndim me Skënderajn. Sipërfaqja e tërsishme e saj përfshin 345 km². Ndërkaq, vlerësohet të ketë rreth 69,881 banorë, nga të cilët mbi 92% shqiptarë. Nën administrimin e Kuvendit Komunal të Vushtrrisë janë të përfshira 67 fshatra.
Qytetin e Vushtrrisë e përshkojnë lumi Sitnica, si lumi më i madh, që përshkon tejpërtej territorin e Komunës, ndërsa dy lumenj më të vegjël: Tërstena dhe Studimja, kalojnë nëpër qytetin e Vushtrrisë. Ndërkaq gjuhët zyrtare janë shqipja dhe serbishtja, kurse më 2008 Komuna e Vushtrrisë ka vendosur që në përdorim zyrtarë të jetë edhe gjuha turke.
Ndërtimet e bëra mbas luftës Vushtrrinë e bëjnë një qytet tepër atraktiv çoftë për tu vizituar apo edhe për të investuar në këtë qytet që për disa shekuj ka qenë qyteti më i madh i Kosovës por edhe ndër qytetet më të mëdha të Ballkanit dhe fatmirësisht mbas luftës sërish ky qytet antik me vlera të jashtëzakonshme e ka marrë prapë shkëlqimin e dikurshëm. Se Vushtrria është qytet kulturor e vërtetojnë edhe disa monumente që ndodhen në këtë qytet si: Ura e gurit, hamami i qytetit, kështjella (Kalaja) e Vushtrrisë, çeshmja e qytetit, Xhamitë disa shekullore, shtëpitë e vjetra, rrugët me kalldrëm, varrezat myslimane, etj.

Chegamos depois ao bairro antigo de Pristina, uma zona onde abundam as mesquitas entre as quais se destaca a Mesquita Sultan Mehmet Fatih, também conhecida como a Mesquita Imperial (em frente à Torre do Relógio). Construída durante o reinado do sultão otomano Mehmet II, o Conquistador para celebrar a vitória dos Otomanos na Batalha do Kosovo, ostenta uma impressionante cúpula de 15 metros. Apesar de já ter sido restaurada durante várias vezes ao longo dos séculos, o minarete é original, ou seja tem mais de seiscentos anos!

Mount Korab is the highest peak of the eponymous mountain range and the fourth highest mountain entirely located in the Balkan Peninsula, standing at 2,764 metres (9,068 feet).
The summit of the Korab mountain range in the Albanian-Macedonian border, Korab is the highest peak of Albania and North Macedonia and also one of only two summits in Europe, which are the highest point for more than one country. The Korab is also the 18th most prominent mountain peak in the European continent and the third on the Balkan Peninsula.

Voor de grensovergang tussen Hongarije en Servië staat een bordje 'Stau', dus we verwachten een lange wachttijd. Maar binnen 4 minuten zijn we beide controles door.
Helaas hebben we onze dashcam iets te laag staan waardoor het uitzicht wat minder is en je teveel dashboard ziet.

Dibra City / Maqellar - Rabdisht - Albania
Human activity in the territory of the modern Dibër County can be traced back to the Neolithic.
The region that today corresponds to the county territory was inhabited by the ancient Illyrian tribe of Penestae. They was the first people to leave lasting traces and cultural heritage throughout the region.It is evidenced by the settlements of the Early Bronze Age in Manasdren, the Middle Bronze Age in Çetush, the Late Bronze Age in Pesjakë and several others.
In the Middle Ages, Dibër was part of the Principality of Kastrioti ruled by the royal Kastrioti family with Gjon Kastrioti on the Albanian throne. After the death of Gjon Kastrioti in 1437, the eastern region was annexed by the Ottomans and became seat of the Sanjak of Dibra. The comprising regions were awarded to his son Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg, where he survived to conquere back his father’s land and untie all of Albania in 1444. In the 15th century, further during the Albanian wars the region was the frontier between the Ottomans and the League of Lezhë.
In the 19th century, the Congress of Dibër declared the Albanian language as an official language within the Ottoman Empire. After the Balkan Wars and following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the great powers established the borders of the Balkan states at the Conference of London. The Dibër Valley was cut in half. The western part was assigned to Albania, while the eastern part went to the Kingdom of Serbia, today North Macedonia.
