There are more than 2,000 chateaux in the Loire Valley, but we have selected our favorite 10 Loire Valley chateaux to visit. Each of the castles is distinct and has something unique to offer. Whether you want to prepare for an upcoming trip in the Loire Valley in France and are wondering what are the things to see in the Loire Valley or what are the tings to do in the Loire Valley or you just want to learn more about the Loire Valley chateaux, this video includes lots of tips and anecdotes about the chateaux of the Loire Valley. Most castles of the Loire Valley have a renaissance style. But the Loire Valley also has some medieval castles and medieval fortresses with moats and keeps.

MENTON is a picturesque town famous for its subtropical microclimate.
High on its rocky perch you find ÈZE, an extremely well-kept village – maybe too much well-kept – with a beautiful Exotique garden.
As the French Riviera’s capital, and France’s fifth-largest city, NICE has the most vibrant nightlife spot.
Surrounded by olive trees, the medieval town of VENCE has preserved its narrow streets and shady squares within its thousand-year-old walls.
SAINT-PAUL DE VENCE has picturesque alleys with an incredible view on the Mediterranean coast.
Named City of Handcraft , CAGNES SUR MER was chosen by Renoir to spend the last years of his life.
ANTIBES is a sixteenth-century labyrinthine old town. The village is surrounded by its bastions and charms those who visit it with its port, the Provençal market, art museums, and much more.
In CANNES visit its promenade on the Croisette, the famous boulevard along the sea, the Suquet district, the oldest and most authentic area of Cannes, and the Marché Forville.
Overlooking one of the most beautiful bays in France, SAINT TROPEZ uses the flavors of the Mediterranean Sea to offer us several Michelin-starred restaurants.

Each of these destinations requires at least half a day to visit. So, a tour like the one I showed you takes about 5 days.

- INSALATA NIZZARDA (tomatoes, anchovies or tuna, boiled eggs and various fresh seasonal vegetables)
- PISSALADIÈRE (focaccia with onions, anchovies and olives)
- TOURTE DE BLETTES SUCRÉE (sweet chard cake)
