Hot Springs & Waterfalls in El Salvador | Santa Teresa Hot Springs & Chorros de la Calera
We visited HOT SPRINGS & WATERFALLS in El Salvador. Check out Santa Teresa Hot Springs & Chorros de la Calera Waterfalls in El Salvador. Both these El Salvadorian attractions are along the Routa de las Flores and are great day trip options if you are in the area. You may also want to check out the 7 Waterfalls hikes or Siete Cascadas, this hike often ends with the Chorros de la Calera Waterfalls nature reserve.
We are car camping/overlanding in our ROOF TOP TENT through Central America. We drove all the way from Canada to Nicaragua with our 2 bulldogs Tigger & Penelope to our new home in San Juan del Sur Nicaragua. We loved it so much that we are back on the road!!! We spent 8 months exploring COSTA RICA & NOW we are traveling north, spending 1 month in El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, USA & visiting family back in Canada for the Canadian summer, join the ADVENTURE!

We only walked to the first waterfall, but I believe you can continue hiking to several others (map linked below). In today's Mexico travel vlog, we experience even more of Ajijic, Jalisco. We are so glad we took a chance on Villa del Angel B&B because it was just the health retreat we needed. While we were there, we tried out horseback riding for the first time, enjoyed Thai food, and relaxed at this huge former hacienda/mansion with stretching, meditation, homemade breakfasts...and one REALLY unexpected surprise. Mexico continues to shock us.
