1. Hagia Sophia mosque
The Hagia Sophia used to be a church, but then was converted to a mosque after the conquest of Constantinople in 1453. Nowadays, it is both a mosque and museum.
2. Topkapı palace
The Topkapı palace used to be the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for about 400 years. It has four main courtyards and showcases ottoman architecture. It has a very serene environment even though being quite touristy.
3. Blue mosque
The Blue mosque is known for its six minarets and its beautiful courtyard.
4. Basilica Cistern
This cistern provided a water filtration system for the palace of Constantinople and later it continued to provide water for the Topkapı palace in the Ottoman times. Very notable are two Medusa heads which are used as pillars.
5. Grand Bazaar
The Grand Bazaar was established in 1455 after the conquest of Constantinople. It is the oldest shopping mall in the world and has over 4.000 shops. It offers a wide range of products like jewelry, carpets or spices.
6. Spice Bazaar
Second largest historic shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar. Focus here is on spices, Turkish delight and dried fruits.
7. Süleymaniye mosque
The mosque was commissioned by Sultan Suleiman the magnificent and designed by the very famous imperial architect Mimar Sinan. Nowadays, it is a UNESCO world heritage site.
8. Taksim square and Istiklal street
Taksim square is probably the most central place in Istanbul. Istiklal street is busy day and night.
9. Galata Tower

Kalehöyük, Kırşehir ili Kaman ilçesinin 3 km. doğusunda Kaman Kırşehir karayolunun hemen kenarında yer almaktadır. Höyük 280 m çapında 16 m yüksekliğinde tipik bir Anadolu höyüğüdür. Höyükte dört yapı katı tespit edilmiştir. Kaman Kalehöyük kazılarını, Japonya Ortadoğu Kültür Merkezi Başkanı ve Kaman Kalehöyük Kazı Heyeti Şeref Başkanı Prens Takahito Mikasa 31 Mayıs 1986 günü başlatmıştır. Dr. Sachihiro Omura başkanlığındaki kazı halen devam etmektedir. Burada yapılan kazılar Kırşehir’in en erken yerleşim tarihine ışık tutmaktadır. En erken yerleşim, erken Bronz çağına tarihlendirilmektir.
Höyükte yapılan kazı çalışmalarında, İlk Tunç çağından başlayan ve Osmanlı dönemine kadar devam eden bir iskanın varlığı saptanmıştır.
Kalehöyükte bu güne kadar saptanmış kültür katmanları şu şekilde özetlenebilir:
I.Kat: Osmanlı Dönemi (15-17yy)
II.Kat: Demir Çağı (M.Ö.12-4 yy)
III.Kat: Orta ve Geç Bronz Çağı: (İ.Ö. 20-12 yy)
IV.Kat: Erken Bronz Çağı: (M.Ö.23-20 yy)
Kalehöyük’te M.Ö. II. binde gerçekleşen Asur Ticaret Kolonileri Çağı, eski ve geç Hitit, eski ve geç Frig evrelerine ait iskan da mevcuttur.
Bulunduğu Kaman ilçesinin ve Çağırkan kasabasının sosyo –ekonomik yapısına olan etkisi ve bölge insanının da buna katılması takdirle karşılanacak bir gelişmedir.
