VIAJE A MÉXICO - Tulum (Capítulo 5)

WHY YOU NEED TO VISIT PUNTA ALLEN ASAP! Our 4-day Trip To This Unspoiled Paradise 🇲🇽
In today's video we share our 4 day experience in Punta Allen! From how to get there, what to do in Punta Allen and why you should visit before it's too late!
Punta Allen stole our hearts since day 1. It's very rare as a traveler to find a place like this in 2022. We can only hope it stays this pure and remote and that it doesn't become like other places in Mexico like Tulum or Holbox... we witnessed first hand what unsustainable tourism can do to beautiful destinations and we don't want that to happen to Punta Allen.
We had a blast during our 4 days in Punta Allen. Sure, we didn't do much, but that's part of the vibe here. You go there to relax, disconnect and be forced to enjoy the little things in life. If you decide to visit, please enjoy responsibly!
We hope you enjoy the video! If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments. We are always happy to help :)

Our New Home. Mexico's Best Kept Secret?
This week we say goodbye to our home of the last month in Valladolid and head to Puerto Morelos where we'll spend another month.
Puerto Morelos is a small coastal town located on the eastern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is situated between the popular tourist destinations of Cancún and Playa del Carmen. Despite being in close proximity to these larger cities, Puerto Morelos has managed to maintain a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, making it an attractive destination for those seeking a quieter and less crowded vacation spot.
One of the main draws of Puerto Morelos is its beautiful beaches and pristine Caribbean waters. The town boasts a long stretch of sandy shoreline with turquoise waters, which is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest coral reef system in the world, is just offshore from Puerto Morelos, offering excellent opportunities for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts to explore the vibrant underwater world.
Puerto Morelos is known for its eco-tourism and preservation efforts. The town has a national marine park, the Puerto Morelos Reef National Park, which helps protect the local coral reefs and marine life. Visitors can take part in snorkeling or diving tours to explore the reefs and witness the diverse marine ecosystem.
The town itself has a charming and traditional Mexican feel, with colorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and a central square known as the Zocalo. The Zocalo is a gathering place for locals and tourists alike, where you can find small shops, restaurants, and a church. The main street, Avenue Javier Rojo Gomez, is lined with shops, cafes, and local businesses.
Overall, Puerto Morelos is a charming coastal town that provides a more relaxed and tranquil alternative to the busier tourist destinations in the region. It offers beautiful beaches, incredible marine life, and a chance to immerse yourself in Mexican culture and natural beauty.
We will take the next month to explore and make ourselves at home. We hope you enjoy the video. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Punta Allen, Quintana Roo - Mexico
#puntaallen #mexico Punta Allen, officially called Javier Rojo Gómez, is a tiny fisher village of about 400 souls. It is the largest village in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere and is located at the southern end of the Boca Paila Peninsula. There is no industry, no connection to the public light grid or so whatever. Just a few homes and room rentals. Punta Allen can be reached by just on 40 km long sand road from Tulum. It seems to be the end of the world... though, this end of the world is of breathtaking beauty.
Caribbean paradise of Tulum & Wildlife of Sian Kaan Biosphere reserve! Mexico Series part 3. 4K60
And our main tips for our dear viewers:
1. While being in Tulum, don't miss a chance to explore wildlife of Yucatan peninsula in Sian Kaan Biosphere reserve. The two most common Sian Ka’an access points from Tulum are: Muyil and Punta Allen. Both of them provide for two completely different experiences and contain two different ecosystems. If you want to see the oceanic side of Sian Ka’an, including saltwater lagoons, then the Punta Allen route to the Sian Ka’an may be for you. Also, it includes the possibility to go snorkelling in the Great Mayan Reef. You will have a chance to see more marine life, such as dolphins and turtles as well as other animals like crocodiles, and manatees! If you want to see the Mayan ruins, freshwater lagoon, mangrove forests, wetlands, Mayan-carved canals, and float down Mayan canals, you can do this from the Muyil access point to Sian Ka’an. We chose a tour company Mexicokantours to explore the oceanic side of Sian Ka'an, and we were able to see a lot with a knowledgeable guide.
2. Beaches of Tulum and beach clubs. It is known that Tulum has great beaches, and it turned to be true experience for us. When visiting a beach, don't forget to stop at a beach club for margaritas :)
3. Cenotes. Yucatan peninsula is famous for its cenotes. We found it as good idea to go there while it was raining in Tulum and we couldn't stay in the beach- refreshing dip in cenote was nice.
What's Happening to Quintana Roo, MX? | Panamerican EP14
Quintana Roo, such a paradise destination. We overland to Bacalar and Tulum, Mexico's most popular tourist destinations and we come to a daunting discovery.
For all Pan American enthusiasts:
We arrive with our Toyota Tacoma and Four Wheel Camper eagle in Quintana Roo and our first stop is Bacalar, the pristine beautiful blue waters almost look photoshoped. The amount of tourists are higher than we ever seen in Mexico and we need some time to adjust. The impressive fort in the middle of the town is stunning, fort San Felipe. The city is spread with murals and a lot of artist talent.
We move on to Tulum, being curious about the Bioreserve Sian Ka'an. In Tulum the tourist atmosphere is too much for us to handle and we try to exist within. We are clearly out of our comfort zone. Finally making it to Sian Ka'an, we drive for hours on bumpy roads with barely any views to make it to Punta Alan. Clearly Mexico has spoiled us with gorgeous views and we have are hard to impress. Punta Allen is beautiful and tranquil, exactly what we currently need.
