Nijmegen: Top 5 plekken voor een geweldig dagje uit!
In deze Top 5 nemen we je mee langs de hoogtepunten van de oudste stad van ons land: Nijmegen! Heb jij altijd al een bezoekje willen brengen aan deze prachtige stad aan de Waal, dan mag je deze highlights niet missen!
We beginnen onze top 5 in het Valkhofpark, dat gelijk vanaf de Waalbrug al te zien is. In dit heuvelachtige park kun je oude ruïnes bewonderen en heb je een mooi panorama over de Waal. Vanaf het park lopen we naar onze nummer vierde, de oudste winkelstraat van Nederland, namelijk de Lange Hezelstraat. Nadat we een kijkje hebben genomen in de vele boetiekjes, stappen we zo in het groene hart van de stad: het Kronenburgerpark. Hier nemen we een kijkje bij de waterval en de bijzondere toren en en met de hit van Frank Boeijen in onze oren, stappen we richting het centrum voor de nummer twee van onze lijst. De Stevenskerk is dé eye-catcher van Nijmegen en een echte must-see! Er zijn regelmatig evenementen en onder begeleiding kun je ook nog eens de toren beklimmen om de stad van boven te bekijken. Na een geslaagde trip, sluiten we de dag af op de Grote Markt, het bruisende centrum van de stad. Hier kun je prachtige, historische gebouwen bewonderen zoals de eeuwenoude Waag en lekker neerploffen op een van de vele terrasjes.

Valkhof Museum Nijmegen- Daytrip from Amsterdam
New Amsterdam Travel Video- Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands. It dates back to Roman times and many Roman artifacts have been discovered around the city area. Some fine examples are displayed at the Valkhof Museum, which is located next to Valkhof Park which sits upon a nice hilltop overlooking the Waal River. The museum is a great mix of art and archeology and the ancient pieces are a nice contrast with their modern art. In his Cool Collection II_Omina exhibit, Folkert de Jong juxtaposes Roman ceramics with his futuristic looking art works. Outside the museum's ultra-modern building are the medieval Barbarossa ruins and St. Nicolaas Chapel. Nijmegen is about a 1.5 hour train ride from Amsterdam.

De historische Keizerstad ( Nijmegen ) Bezienswaardigheden | Drone video 2022
In deze video, gemaakt met een drone, kun je de historische stad Nijmegen vanuit een uniek perspectief bekijken. Ook wel bekend als de Keizerstad, omdat keizers Trajanus, Karel de Grote en Barbarossa allemaal gebouwen in deze stad hebben neergezet.
De video laat zien hoe de drone over de stad vliegt, wat een mooi beeld geeft van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van de stad, zoals de Waalbrug, de Spoorbrug, de Stevenskerk, de Sint-Nicolaaskapel en de Barbarossa-ruïne. Deze bezienswaardigheden zijn allemaal te vinden in het Valkhof, een historisch gebied in Nijmegen.
Vanuit de lucht kun je ook zien hoe de stad is omgeven door groen, zoals het Kronenburgerpark. Nijmegen is ook bekend om de Nijmeegse Vierdaagse, een jaarlijks terugkerende wandeltocht van vier dagen.
Al met al is deze drone video een prachtige manier om Nijmegen te ontdekken en te bewonderen vanuit een uniek perspectief. Het is zeker de moeite waard om een bezoek te brengen aan deze historische stad en al haar bezienswaardigheden, zoals het Valkhofmuseum en het Stadsmuseum Het Catharina Gasthuis.
Bovendien kun je met deze video ook zien hoe Nijmegen zich verhoudt tot de omgeving, met de rivier de Waal en de oude binnenstad aan één kant en de nieuwere wijken aan de andere kant. Het is interessant om te zien hoe de stad zich heeft ontwikkeld en hoe het gebied eruit zag in het verleden.
Al met al is deze drone video van Nijmegen een prachtige manier om de stad te ontdekken en te bewonderen vanuit een uniek perspectief. Het is zeker de moeite waard om een bezoek te brengen aan deze historische stad en al haar bezienswaardigheden als je in de buurt bent!
