Givat Zeev (near Ramat) Stunning Jerusalem Penthouse- View of Samuel Navi
Since the buzz about Ramat Givat Zeev began many Anglo's have been taking a deeper look into other areas of Givat Zeev which are seemingly much better investments. Givat Zeev is a ready to move in community with Mikvah's, Shul's, and shopping centers. It is literally minutes from Jerusalem by car and is closer to Jerusalem than the new American Neighborhood being built known as Ramat Givat Zeev (which won't be ready for 4 years).
There is an American Rav leading an Ashkenaz Kehila in my community. His name is Rabbi Yitzchok Schwartz and he was one of Rabbi Chaim Pinchas Sheinberg ZTZL's favorite students. There are Sefardic kehilas in the area as well.Apartments here are being sold for cheaper than Ramat Givat Zeev and are available immediately.
For example, a stunning 2400 square ft. 6 BR penthouse duplex with 5 Bathrooms and huge balconies (with a view of kever Shmuel Ha' Navi) goes for about $500k. It is one of the nicest apartments you will ever see in the Jerusalem area and that is a guarantee. For more information about the apartments in this area or general information I can be reached at 516-554-8771 or 054-426-6569.
This is the first video of the penthouse duplexes for sale in Givat Zeev. These stunning 2 floor duplexes have heated floors and breath taking views of the Samuel Ha'Navi. They have 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. 4 showers and 2 baths. Givat Zeev has everything from 3 Bedroom apartments that start at $300k to enormous private homes for $1 million as many are used to in the Five Towns. Call 516-554-8771 for more information.

Nabi Samuel Park is a fascinating combination of antiquities, agricultural terraced landscapes, mountain spring, and orchards. At the heart of the site is a large building from the Crusader period, containing the tomb of the prophet Samuel
The Judaean Mountains, or Judaean Hills or the Hebron Mountains, is a mountain range in Palestine and Israel where Jerusalem, Hebron, and several other biblical cities are located. The mountains reach a height of 1,026 meters (3,366 ft). The Judean Mountains can be separated to a number of sub-regions, including the Mount Hebron ridge, the Jerusalem ridge, and the Judean slopes.
The Judaean Mountains formed the heartland of the Kingdom of Judah (930-586 BCE), where the earliest Jewish settlements emerged, and from which Jews are generally descended.
Nabi Samuel Park extends along the slopes of Mt Samuel [Har Shmu’el]. Mt Samuel is a horst (a block raised above its surroundings), rising to a height of 855 m above sea level. To the east, the range is bounded by the Soreq Stream, and its tributaries to the north and south of the mountains accentuate its height.
Mt Samuel commands the road from Giv’at Ze’ev to Jerusalem (Road 436). This road follows the route of the ancient road from Bet Horon to Jerusalem.
Terraces still remain on the slopes of the hill, evidence of the traditional mountain agriculture that was common here in the past. Among the agricultural crops are orchards, including strawberry, fig, almond and olive trees, some still remaining to this day. Planted cypresses and pines also grow in the area. On the walls of the cave in which the Hannah Spring rises, maidenhair fern (Adiantum capillus-veneris) grows.
On the surrounding hillsides, scrub covers the abandoned terraces. The most noticeable plant among the scrub is prickly burnet (Sarcopoterium spinosum).
Mammals are sometimes seen within the national park, wandering around the Judean Hills, among them the mountain gazelle (Gazella gazella), the striped hyena (Hyaena hyaena), and the red fox (Vulpes vulpes).

My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.
